,rooms have a small kitchen, wifi is Ok, location - good but the whole place feels generally fells as if it got stuck in the 70's If old furniture and windows that face walls bother you - you'll have to skip this place oh, and walls were thin - if you have a group of college kids in the next...

We stayed 6 nights here in Room 20. The room was kind of small but the bathroom was rather large. All we were looking for was a clean comfortable place to shower and sleep while we visited San Francisco. It is exactly what we got. We don't travel to stay in hotels. We stay in hotels because we travel. San...

The hotel is extremely dated as you would have noted in the other reviews. When I came at 4pm, they said the room was not ready and I was just early? Check in is at 2pm... I had plans to head off so that was not a big deal. Do not expect a smile or anything remotely close to friendly...

Stayed here for 1 night. Very good location. Free parking, free WiFi and free continental breakfast. Rooms are a bit small but very well equipped. Microwave, refrigerator and cable TV in room was nice. WiFi worked perfect in all locations, they have several hot-spots available. Building is a bit outdated. Service was great. We very early before check-in time and...

The hotel is located in the heart of Pacific Heights, close to the famous Lombard Street and the historic cable car lines. Fisherman's Wharf is almost in walking distance and there is "Big Bus San Francisco" stop over the corner. Parking in the area of hotel is available for free. The staff was pleasant, there is a modest but hearty...

Stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms are bit small but nice and clean. It has everything you'll probably need. Staff is very kind. It's on great Union street, lots of bars and restaurants near. It has free parking. Located in quiet and safe neighborhood. It's cheaper than lots of similar hotels in this area. Breakfast is very poor though -...

We stayed here for four nights and were very disappointed! We paid a lot of money for this and it was nothing like we expected. It was very old, dated and did not appear to be particularly clean! We spent 16 nights in the USA and this was the worst nights sleep we had due to the noise of our...

So, this is a old Inn with a small microwave and fridge is the room... not very fancy, clean and friendly front desk staff. Free Parking which is a big deal in S.F. As this is not a fancy place.. like many small places, don't expect a lot of frills.... other than the most important one... it is in a...

David was just great on the phone. This Motel is extremely worn out, out of date, fixtures go back 35 years! It looked like nothing has been done to this place, since they first opened, decades ago! Floors were dirty, tile was dirty, shower tile had hair sticking to it from past customers! We asked for another room, the first...

Overall not bad. The room had a slight musty smell to it, but the sheets were clean, and the bathroom spotless. The location was great, located about 15 minutes from the wharf, and a short drive from Lands End & Golden Gate Park. What made the hotel great was the innkeeper; Billy was very friendly, and had some good recommendations.

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
