HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 9 February 2017

The only complaint about the room was that the lighting was too dim, in general, and for reading. We had an upgraded room on the top floor, with a gorgeous view of the city. The elevators are high-tech and took a minute to get used to -- you put your room number into a keypad outside the elevator, and there...

Thank you for sharing your experience with us...we appreciate your feedback regarding the lighting in the rooms and our updated elevators. I'm glad you enjoyed the Skyline view and location in Union Square. We hope you'll come back and stay again!

After an initial mix up with the rooms (we were given a twin instead of a double) the stay here was pleasant enough. Staff were friendly, with great recommendations of places to eat and helping out with the mix up with the rooms. The rooms themselves are clean and fairly spacious, with a well equipped bathroom. They are a little...

It was very well located hotel in heart of San Francisco. Very attentive service and concierge was very helpful and really tried to address all our needs. Hotel floors and rooms are a bit dated, not old but just felt like needs to be refreshed. I am usually very picky about rooms but this was ok I think I did...

Overall I was pleased with the hotel and staff. However breakfast buffet I feel is over priced. We ate breakfast at a near by location which was less than half of the price of hiltons . $34 for breakfast is too much.

The Parc 55 is located close to a decent sized mall and a very short walk to the BART and MUNI systems. The hotel positives: location, very helpful concierge staff, very efficient hotel staff who processed my check-in and check out and a wide spread of selections for the breakfast buffet. I was upgraded to a room with a beautiful...

If you look at previous answers- the transit question has popped up before:

I agree with earlier commenters' BART is right across the street. If you don't have a lot of luggage this is a good option for about $8/person one-way.- very fast- about 25 min.

If you have more than you might want to have to cart upstairs if the escalators/elevators are having problems, you might consider UberX or SuperShuttle. UberX is estimated $27-34 for standard car, $68-69 for black car, and 84-85 for SUV (if you have a lot of luggage or don't want to ride in the front seat). These rates may go up if your driver runs into traffic on the way.

SuperShuttle and other shared-ride vans are probably going to be a bit more expensive than UberX/UberXL--$17/person one-way it looks like, so about same as black car if there's no bad traffic.

Wi-fi was free for me- I am a Hilton HHonors Silver member.

not sure if it's true for all.

Enjoy SF- great city!

Hello! BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) is one of the cheapest ways to get to and from the airport to our hotel. It will take you right across the street from our hotel. For other alternatives, - we suggest using Uber, Super Shuttle or a taxi.
