If you want a nice room with good service avoid this place. Designed for the under 30's with more money and no sense. Seems to be run by the homeless. Overpriced. Light in room did not work. USB's did not work.

Perfect location! No need for a taxi or trolley because everything was walking distance! Everywhere we walked there was something to do. The hotel was beautiful and very clean! Will definitely come back to this hotel when we go to San Francisco.

Management response:

Groovy review Irene M! Hotel Zeppelin is lucky to be right in the action of Union Square with San Francisco's famous cable cars just steps from our door! We will be here rocking and rolling, can't wait to have you back for another visit. Next visit you can even take one of our complimentary bikes for a spin through the...

Really love the new iteration of this hotel - it's bringing a young, funky vibe to the neighborhood. Stylish and cool, with muted colors that are pleasing to the eye. Plus the hotel bar and restaurant are fantastic - note to Zepplin management that they should create a TripAdvisor page for Rambler - I wanted to leave a positive review...

The good: friendly, accommodating and chill staff. Hotel had a better than expected gym and interesting amenities like a game room and lots of lounge space. Price was fair. Bonus, the bathroom products were very nice! The bad: the decor and fixtures were cheap and borderline tacky. Rooms were very small (we had a king suite), hotel layout was really...

For our three days stay in San Francisco we've chosen Zeppelin hotel not only because of his sophisticated but rock & roll attitude. We've already stayed in a Viceroy hotel in New York and we've appreciated so much the attention for any particular. Parking walet is a little bit pricy, but absolutely necessary when you've driven for miles and you...

We stayed here as part of a business trip and it was a fun and quirky yet clean and well-located option. It is overtly appealing to be hip but it works. Great space downstairs and in lobbies for meeting and lounging. Rooms are a bit small and dark and from what I can tell, offer little view but they are...

I stayed overall 8 nights in the hotel. Hotel is modern, good location, but I would never return because of the rooms (noisy, or no view) and not very good service First night I spent in a room on the floor 7. They told me that there is a gym on Floor 8, but I won't hear it, it's not...

Not a huge fan of the stodgy old decor nor the chain hotels. If I can't remember my hotel until I walk outside, I'd prefer not to stay there. Found the Hotel Zeppelin while looking for hotels in the Union Square or Fisherman's Wharf areas... great choice for us. Although I can't expect to get a large room in cities...

Thanks for joining the party at rockin' Hotel Zeppelin, Jujea! We are thrilled to see you dig our 60's / 70's vibe, nice to stay somewhere with a soul ;) Did you get a chance to try Rambler, the new restaurant in house? If not, you have a great excuse to come back and visit again soon. Catch you on...

I've stayed in San Fran a 100 times but this hotel has me leaving my heart. We had a great suite on the 7th floor. The restaurant in the hotel is amazing and you can't beat the location.Parking is expensive at hotel so for $30 less you can literally park around the block and walk.

We had booked the hotel for our company Chairman in October. Coincidently, he also had his 40th birthday and we as a company had arranged for a cake to be delivered to his room as a surprise. I contacted the hotel via email and got an answer back from the concierge, introducing herself and replying that they could arrange everything....
