Excellent stayed at Donatello for 3 days. Pleased and satisfied. Great location -- close to Union Square/Powell Station/Cable Car/Tourist Info Center/Car rentals. Just a block away, there is a garage for many of the popular car rental companies (Hertz/National/Alamo/Dollar/Thrifty) (320 O'Farrell Street). First day, warmly welcomed by the Staffs and got helped on setting the sofa bed. Great customer services....

I spent 5 nights at The Donatello in S.F. with my wife and my daughter (from Aug 9 to 14, 2010). The rooms are very clean and spacious, but what I have more appreciated is the extreme kindness and helpfulness of all the staff. I will reccomend this hotel to all my friend who intend to visit San Francisco.

My wife and I spent a week at the Donatello using Shell Vacation Club Points. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was large and bright with large windows (overlooking the backs of buildings). The small refrigerator and microwave helped with breakfasts and a lunch or two. The parking was convenient if expensive and the attendents helpful. We...

Good hotel in a good position, very next to Union Square. We practically visisted the city by feet and the hotel position helped us very much. The hotel doesn't have breakfast included but there is a Starbucks very next to it. The room was clean and quite big.

This little hotel near Union Square is a gem! The service was impeccable and the room was comfortable, clean and tasteful. I usually don't sleep well in a hotel because the bedding and pillows are usually not comfortable, but here, it felt like home! They actually have a turn-down service, which seems to be scarce these days. The location was...

The Donatello is a real find. Comfortable rooms with especially attentive and helpful service and a location that can't be beat. This is a great place to stay in the City by the Bay. Check out their rates!

The Donatello's rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. We slept great on their comfortable king size beds. The location is excellent for walking to nearby shops, restaurants and art galleries. The first night there we were tired and ordered room service from their restaurant which was excellent. The jacuzzi was just okay as their were many suds in the...

Four girlfriends celebrating significant birthdays; booked 2 rooms. Hotel was able to accommodate our request for rooms side by side. Lots of space; windows that actually open! Comfy king-size bed; sofa, coffee table; mini fridge and micro-wave. Super soft housecoats and towels. Complimentary wi-fi allowed us to research our itinerary and restaurants. Bathroom wasn't perfect; could certainly use an update...

I can not say enough good things about the Donatello. The people were GREAT. They catered to our every whim. Every evening, after a long day exploring San Francisco, we went to the Club to have hot chocolate and tea. The Club area allowed us to unwind and talk about what we liked best about that days excursion. The room...

We chose the Donatello for it's combination of location, space, price and favourable Trip Advisor reviews; last time we stayed in the Westin Market Street. Jesus checked us in into a great room at 1130 when we were expecting just to drop our cases - what a great guy! In fact, the desk staff, concierges and maids were all super...
