We stayed 4 nights, after looking for a decent hotel at a sensible price we opted for the Travel lodge on Lombard Street. Once you get over the price and come to terms that San Francisco is expensive you will find this is as good...More
This hotel is definitely at the motel 6 level in quality and luxury. We stayed in room 206 and scored ourselves the very last parking spot... yes folks, although they say there is free parking, not everyone will get a spot.

Very nice rooms, little bit old furniture but very nice. It's located on Lombard street. There are lovely cafes and bars around. Only bad thing is that they don't have a parking spot for every room and the parking lot is first come first serve,...More

Also Known As
Travelodge Golden Gate San Francisco Hotel San Francisco ,
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city.
With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
This hotel has no airport pick-up or drop-off, but you can take a shuttle from the airport for $17 for the first rider, and then $10 per person for each additional rider. Also, strongly suggest you read all reviews closely... More
