This property has had more than a few years under its belt, but the staff are friendly, the value is great and the location is right on the Presidio. I think it is a great value for the area.

Easy to drive to from Golden Gate Bridge. Across the street from the Presidio. Liverpool Lil's restaurant around the corner. Free parking, but only 11 parking places for 27 rooms, so need to arrive in the afternoon to get a parking space. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cookies available from 3 to 7. Breakfast minimal - packaged pastries, croissants, cereal,...

We have stayed at this Travelodge for a number of years when visiting our family in the immediate area. Their location makes this facility the perfect choice for us, though it is an older facility and not our typical lodging choice. But, each time we've stayed with them we've had a positive experience, as they strive to make their guests'...

Room was super clean (albeit small, which we knew ahead of time, so no problem for us), close to attractions and public transportation, and the staff was REALLY helpful. We got suggestions for easy public transportation, how to avoid crowds at key attractions, and great places to visit with kids. It's located on Lombard, but not on the traffic-y 101...

First time in San Francisco, and I did a lot of research choosing this hotel for my first 5 days in SF. SF is an expensive city for accommodation, so I was looking for a reasonable price and a quiet area. This hotel scored well on both my criterias ! The Presidio Park is just 50 meters away and I...

The staff is very nice and very knowledgeable about San Francisco. If you like great walks the Presidio is across the street. This hotel is quiet and affordable. The hotel is nothing fancy.

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
