Had a delightful 12-day stay in 3/2017, at this small boutique style hotel in a good location on Market Street. Staff is friendly and helpful. This is a great hotel for the travel-light, European-style traveler. Mini-lobby, vintage elevator and spiral walk up. We stayed in two different rooms. Both were clean, bright and airy, but were small with one chair...

I felt unsafe staying in this hotel after we reported our fire detector chirping in need of a new battery. The front desk attendant had two recommendations for us: 1) Use this stick they reserved for resetting the detector (they were prepared) or 2) Put a plastic bag over the fire detector to keep it from beeping, even though I...

We were in San Francisco for a few days to break up a journey from New Zealand to England and were keen to see the sights and experience the city without breaking the bank. This hotel certainly fit the bill - the room was clean and welcoming, if a little small with a well appointed bathroom (once we had worked...

I've only spent one night in the hotel. Very nice staff, good value considering the prices in San Francisco. Also clean rooms with OK bathroom. Heating not working well, but that's ok for California climate. No breakfast but free coffee is available in the lobby. It is an old building in a decent neighbourhood. If you like vintage elevators you'll have...

The location was good, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and my room was clean, bright and cozy - albeit a bit small and basic. I really liked the place and would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Edwardian hotel, however it is very basic. Our room was very small but clean - but so small that there wasn't enough room for a kettle/fridge etc so we couldn't even make a cup of tea! However, I think rooms on other floors are larger. Location is ok - central, but in a bit...

The hotel is correct. The location is in market street but 15 min walking to downtown. In the area there is a lot of homeless, they are not dangerous but they are. The hotel was very clean, but the room was small and we got a private bathroom outside the room which was uncomfortable. Besides, the hotel and personnel was...

Knowing that the weekend I planned for a SFO visit was going to be very busy, I knew that I would pay a premium for my hotel. The Edwardian was in a location that was convenient for where I was planning to visit, and the reviews on Trip Advisor were positive. As like many of review the staff was very...

We stayed here for one night. It was fine but I wouldn't stay for any longer as its so small. Two people and two bags fill the room and there is no where to move. When booking I didn't seem to make me aware of how small it actually is. The shower has poor water quality and there was on...
