Unfortunately I did not have a pleasant experience at Hotel Vertigo. The main point being that I did not actually get to stay there even though I had a hotel confirmation and had contacted the hotel weeks prior to my arrival to confirm my reservation. When arriving at the hotel the weekend of June 8th, I had to be told... More

This hotel has a good location to get to chinatown and other attraction by foot or by the bus. The bus stop is just one street down. The room we stayed in (double with 2 queen beds) was clean, large and bright. Coffee making facility in the room and in the lobby which was nice. Unfortunately the asian lady at... More

Very good stay and excellent value for money. Friendly staff and quiet rooms (though no view) it was a great base and one I'd be tempted to use again. It's central Ian big US city so yes they're small but otherwise very good. Staff lovely and location excellent - worth wandering up Hyde or Polk to union for some lovely... More

This hotel did not meet my expectations the lobby was very dusty and basic with quite moody staff. We asked to move rooms straight away as our first one was tiny with a noisy child in the connecting room with no view and right next to the elevator. After a lot of fussing and being firstly told there was a... More

Hotel Vertigo is a modern boutique hotel with a great location. Rooms are clean, decor is cool and the Hitchcock Vertigo theme is fun. Excellent shower too. Their valet parking service is overpriced at $40 a night - find your own parking - and the staff is bizarrely sour. Many people in the guest book remarked the same. I'd stay... More

We got an excellent price through expedia for a 5 night stay. Considering the price, we were very happy with the hotel - the rooms are fairly small and I wouldn't say the finishes are very high quality, however, the bed is comfortable, it is in a good position and suited our needs. In terms of location, this hotel is in a very quiet location but still within walking distance to union square. I really prefer NOT to stay in union square because of the craziness of the area.
