I had a comfortable stay at this hotel. I liked that it's close to restaurants both small/family-owned and those in Union Square. Staff members were friendly from desk to housekeeping - special kudos to Benjie, who gave me recommendations where to have lunch!

Great, genuine San Francisco experience. Lovely rooms with a terrific team of staff. I will use this hotel every time i return to SF if possible. Coffee in the morning. Wine in the evening. Bike rentals. Central location.

When you walk into the hotel, it might take your breath away. The lobby is stunning! I have never stayed at such a unique hotel before. The design of the rooms were incredible. We had great costumer service from the time we booked the hotel until we checked out. The valet was attentive and quick. The only downside was that... More

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and already had the room ready to go to with the extras we had asked for. We booked a taxi with another company which did not turn up so the marker hotel staff had a taxi there for us within a few minutes ready to go.would highly recommend

This was our second stay at the Marker we stayed here the same time last year and enjoyed it so much we came back. This time we weren't so lucky , we arrived late on Friday 25th Nov for a four day stay without luggage . We had taken the Friday nappa wine tour and arranged for our luggage to... More

Great, beautiful, majestic hotel with a "crew" that supported it just as well. Lobby is breathtaking and I would have loved to spend more time there just enjoying a good book. Room was very, very comfortable and it seemed like a great place to hold business meetings.

Hotel is 2 blocks from Union Square. The entire staff was welcoming and gave the impression that they wanted to make your stay comforting. Would definitely recommend to others and will come back. Appreciated the loading zone in front of hotel.

I stayed here November 2015 and from check in I was disappointed. The hotel will hold 100-150 per night, this adds up quite a bit, not a great practice. Also we got there very late at night after flying all day and were looking forward to a nice hot shower, not happening. We were calmly told by the front desk... More

First impressions are everything to my family and I. Everything from the online check in, to getting a text that our room was ready at 7:30 am, to the actual check in and the kind gentlemen who helped us (I wish I remembered their names) they were so helpful in allowing me to check in and also distract my 3... Our 22nd pre-Christmas trip to SF. Got a fabulous rate, but no cancellation allowed so I was a little worried about trying this hotel The lobby is lovely and the room was bright and cheery. The bellman was very nice and anticipated all our needs. We were pleased that he even let us look over our room before bringing in... More
