A most comfy room overlooking the Colorado River for Valentine's Day! We were a captive audience for dinner as there are few alternatives nearby, and expected to be gouged. But beyond expectations, dinner was delicious and not outrageous. Breakfast was more of the same- delicious...More
We ended up here not knowing anything about it and were amazed at its beauty and quality. It's about 20 minutes up the Colorado River from downtown Moab and Arches National Park but it is so worth the drive. The views are stunning, it is...More

No it doesn’t have “upstairs rooms”. They’re all ground level lodges. It’s located smack in the middle of the wilderness, so yes, there’s wildlife around (coyotes, mountain lions/cougars, bob cats etc...) but they’re not that big a problem. Just try not to stay in the outdoors for too long when it gets dark (they’re mostly nocturnal).
