Seems decent enough - tv, microwave and fridge in room. But I’m not a fan of seeing cockroaches while I’m showering. I really hope none get in my luggage so I don’t bring any home with me. Disappointed that they haven’t done anything about this after multiple reviews about it.
Updated old motel with very comfortable beds, seemed clean, peaceful - enough distance from the main road, which is pretty quiet at night. Unfortunately on about our 3d night I encountered a fat cockroach which probably had come up the drain in the bathroom. Since I have had way too much experience with not being able to get rid of cockroaches once they get started, and I did not want to bring any home with us, and hopefully none had gotten into our luggage already, we left immediately for another hotel. We were refunded 1/2 of one night, out of our remaining 2 nights' stay. So this cost us.
Booked this based on other reviews, we were doing a tour of national parks. In total we stayed at 9 different hotels/lodges in Utah, Arizona and Nevada over 17 days. This place was not at the bottom of the list, but close. The pros: comfortable bed, niceTV, daily housekeeping, fairly clean but small, decent under-window AC kept the room cool but also blew the curtains away from the window, close location to Arches and restaurants, car could be parked right outside the door. The cons: no plug in sink (I could actually see a rusted cap of some sort down in there), only one lock on door, shower floor was so slippery I had to put down a towel, shower faucets were the old separate types so getting the correct temperature was a struggle and water pressure was weak, fridge didn’t quite work, and smoke alarm was beeping/battery removed by staff but not replaced! 😕. No breakfast onsite, you had to walk 2 doors down to a sister facility, when we got there all there was left was cereal, donuts and coffee. I didn’t actually mind this, but don’t advertise breakfast onsite if you don’t have it. Soft drink machine not working and pool had obviously been empty for quite a while. I had reservations here for a year and always had trouble getting staff on the phone, never answered my emails either. Although a couple of weeks prior to arrival I did finally get an emailed confirmation. This place could really be a gem with some freshening up as it's quaint, close to the park and close to restaurants. But if I ever come back to Moab I won’t stay here, there’s got to be places in better shape…
Spacious room. Great bathroom with wonderful soaps and shampoos. Great bedding. Minus one star because mini fridge not working. Otherwise, perfect spot to rest between sightseeing activities and walking around Moab. Spent 5 days here and would stay again.
We look for three things when choosing motels - swimming pool, on-site breakfast, and a working in-room fridge. Based on their website, we selected the Inca Inn, which advertised all three at a (for Moab) reasonable price. We got none of those. We found out that the pool was out of service when we checked in (in 98 degree heat), the fridge in our room didn't keep anything cool (we kept a bucket of ice inside to try to help), and the breakfast was 100 yards down the road at a sister property. We found management (on the rare occasions when someone was actually in the office) to be completely unresponsive. We will never stay here again, and recommend anyone else look elsewhere, because you can certainly do better.
