I knew that Sunflower Hill was something special after reading the reviews and I was delighted when their Summer House room became free and we could book it with it's private entrance. My husband wondered on arrival however, if he had inadvertently been placed in...More
Excellent value - we received a friendly greeting and assistance with parking and bringing our luggage to our room.
The room was spacious and comfortable with a roomy ensuite bath.
Breakfast was excellent. While we only spent a night here, we were totally satisfied.

Thanks for the question. Yes, each of our rooms have separate air conditioning units. Some rooms have central air units with individual vents (these are the quietest), others, such as the Summer House have a wall mounted unit (Mitsubishi heat pump system). It is located in the larger main room and has a control that regulates the fan speed and temperature. The bedroom, which is separate, does not have it's own unit, but it has a window that opens allowing for air flow to provide cooling in that room as well.
