Good location for BSF hiking and close to town (Oneida). We stayed at the Raccoon Ridge cabin July 10th- 14th. The cabin was very clean, well appointed, and roomy. There was basic cable (mainly local channels) and no internet service which is why it was quite and restful. The cabin could use a little indoor sound proofing. Oneida has limited...

We found this cabin last minute, just looking for a one night stay. We were not impressed with the motels we found locally & this was the perfect option for about the same price. The owners were extremely nice. The cabin itself was clean and furnished with more than we needed. We left wishing we had more time to stay.

As a native Scott Countian, I am very familiar with the area and the Big South Fork. I never knew this little place existed. The location is great for exploring the Big South Fork, yet close enough to the city of Oneida in case you need to run to Walmart. The family that owns the cabins are super friendly and...
