What a great hotel! Haywood Park Hotel used to be a department store called Ivey's. It has been redone into a fine hotel. The rooms are very large with a separate sitting area and huge bathroom with separate soaking tub and shower. We could not have been happier with the room, the staff, or the location. The hotel is in... More

My husband and I recently stayed here for three nights on a long weekend to see the biltmore for Christmas. It was a wonderful stay. The hotel was charming and was in a great location. We were in the middle of downtown Asheville and walked everywhere! So nice. So convenient. Our room was very large. The champagne at check in... More

We have travelled to Asheville many times and stayed at many different places, but my wife and I agree this is now our favorite. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the staff were all super courteous and helpful. You cannot beat the location. They are located in the heart of downtown and only steps away from great restaurants and... More

Just spent 4 nights at the Haywood Park and could not be happier with the experience. This is a very unique, boutique hotel located right in the heart of downtown Asheville. Was a department store for many, many years that has been converted to a boutique hotel. Our room on the top (4th floor) was awesome. huge with a huge... More

From the minute we arrived, I loved this hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Large, comfortable, classy rooms. Located in the heart of downtown Asheville. Steps away from shopping and restaurants. Champagne upon arrival. Chocolates on your pillow in the evening, fresh, cooked to order breakfast. Water and snack bars for your trip home. Can't say enough good things about this... More

Loved this hotel experience - located in the midst of all of the Asheville downtown action.. The former department store retains many of the interesting and quirky features, such as announcing what department on each floor of the elevator. The rooms are spacious and comfortable yet elegant and tasteful. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Would highly recommend the Haywood Park Hotel for a visit to Asheville. Spent three nights and four days. Staff was helpful and friendly. Accommodations comfortable and quiet. Already booked another trip in December.

This hotel is centrally located downtown but still has a b&b feel. The rooms are spacious, clean and wonderful. The staff is very knowledgeable about the area and willing to share their personal recommendations. Champagne and bottle waters at Ck in, special chocolates on your pillows at night and a nice departure gift (breakfast bars and waters) with a thank... More

We've stayed when visiting for concerts and sporting events at the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium and at the US Cellular Center. It is only a block away. There are so many restaurants and bars, little taverns and big ale houses all around it would take months to visit them all. This hotel is right where you want to be.....it used to... More
