Stayed two nights at this property in a very rainy Asheville. Hotel was not very busy...assuming cancellations due to weather. This is a very friendly hotel with accommodating service. Has a small town feel. We had a king deluxe and it was a bright, large room. Car and valet service prompt and friendly. Front desk people very warm and helpful.

From the moment we stepped up to the front desk until we left, we experienced the most awesome service. We were immediately offered help with our luggage, which we declined. However, as we were unloading the ready car, here comes cheerful Stan with cart saying "Let me get that for you." Our anniversary was acknowledged upon arrival with a glass...

The Haywood Park Hotel was perfectly located in the center of Asheville. I could walk to all the attractions, restaurants, and shops nearby. Also, the Gray Line Tour (worth doing) stops in front of the hotel. It had every amenity, excellent, friendly staff, and a first rate restaurant on site.

This hotel reminds me of my favorite hotels in Europe: central location, large rooms/suites, elegant décor, reasonable value. We were in a Superior King on the top floor facing south. There were buskers on the sidewalk below, but it was almost impossible to hear them. Perhaps because we stayed there during the week (Mon-Thurs), there was no audible noise inside...

Location is a big plus for this hotel. Downtown Asheville is not huge, but most points of interest are walkable from here. Valet park your vehicle and never use it again unless you are venturing beyond the downtown. This an old former department store, actually two used this structure at different times. The history is interesting even if you don't...

Two night girls' trip to Asheville during the week. Checking in at 2:00 and our room was ready and the staff very pleasant. The Haywood is a hotel that used to be a department store in the early 1900's. Our room was exceptionally spacious, with 2 queen beds, a large TV, a large bathroom, along with a separate area with...

As many other reviewers have stated, the location is awesome. You are no more than a few blocks from all of the top restaurants in Asheville. The staff is very friendly. We had a great view of the mountains and the street scene from our room on the 4th floor. The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. However,...

You can walk to so many restaurants, shops and breweries from this hotel. The rooms were nice and big and comfy. They give you a lot of complimentary toiletries that a lot of hotels don't give out anymore...lotion, body wash, loofah, shampoo and conditioner, shower cap, makeup remover and slippers. The slippers were nice, because the bathroom floor was chilly....

My wife and I just returned from a two-day stay at Haywood Park. It had been recommended by good friends who stay their twice a year. We could not have been more pleased. This hotel combines so many things that are important to us that I hope I can remember them all. First, it is a charming hotel that is...

I cannot recall ever being to a hotel where I felt more welcomed and surrounded by staff who really cared about their work! Our room was huge and comfortable - great bed! The location allowed us to dine anywhere downtown and walk back. While we were tempted to stay at one of the larger chains, we will make this our...
