I get leary thinking about how uncomfortable a bed in any hotel might be as well as the quality of the pillows (even though I bring my own typically). The bed was WONDERFUL. The mattress was comfortable and felt new. I was very impressed. The decor was beautiful and the room was clean.
the room was great; everything seemed perect; then the second night of our stay, we were burdened with a neighbor loud, rude, every other work was f**; we tolderated it, because it was early 10:30pm; but as midnight approached, the decibel levels increased. The night clerk told him several times to quiet down, but when the loud mouth continued, nothing ws done; The rude man threatened to confront the F****kers complaining in the morning. We checked out ealry. I have been staying in lodging 65 years and never has a situation comparable. [granted, I have been fortunate] After we got home, we called the office several times and were told the owner was not in..
Stayed here twice in 1 week-2 different rooms. 1st room was great with comfy beds and spotless BR, good shower. 2nd room, which cost more, was not so nice. Beds ok, but it had a loud, loud heating unit-banging all night, disrupting sleep. Sink faucet almost impossible to turn on. Toilet faced the door. Coffee was awful both times. Check in staff-twice was friendly and very helpful, twice were disinterested and seemed to not like their job. Overall, this hotel was just ok, and it seems like the luck of the draw re:comfort of room. Close to Asheville and Weaverville, but few things in walking distance.
I like this location because it's on the edge of town tucked into the side of a mountain. Very quiet. PATRICK was the reason I stayed more nights. He was helpful and had a smile, that's rare these days. He was professional and gave me information on local eateries, directions, he even helped me with my phone! I will stay here again on my next trip! Melinda was also polite and handled a problem with my tv. The rooms are clean and larger than most hotels.
Employees were very rude and short with me. When I got to the room it was humid and hot, ac had not been turned on. Bathroom smelt like mildew. Stains on sheets. Called customer service and they were no help. Will never stay at a days inn again. You really do get what you pay for, I could of paid an extra 20 bucks and been somewhere very nice, with great customer service and cleanliness.
