Our host was a nice guy who lives on the property. Didn't have any problems with him or the owners as stated many times in these reviews. We also followed the rules which are in place so EVERYONE can enjoy their stay. The deluxe sites are partly shaded and big enough, but backing can be a challenge. We have a...

One of the best campgrounds we've ever stayed at. I could stay here for months. Not a whole lot to do but if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful camping experience, this is it. The premium sites are right at the ridge and have the best views. But there is a nice common area that overlooks the valley and...

I read some of the negative reviews on this campground and I just don't get it from the way we were treated. We were treated with respect and staff are very helpful and courteous. The views from the sites are spectacular! If you want a great view book P-1 through P-8 they have the greatest views without having to walk...

Absolutely amazing views!! lets go right to the pros and cons: Pros: Friendly staff, amazing view of the mountain ranges, very clean campsites, Gravel and cement pad sites, very nice fire rings for grilling, decent bathhouses, plenty of room between the sites, Fast internet Cons: Upgrade on the bathhouses might help, and their are hair-pin turns to navigate up (May...

We got rescued by Jason who let us find a site just after close when our other reservation in the area fell through...We were glad it did once we saw how amazing this place is! With a 10min drive to town, this is an awesome basecamp for Asheville activities...The view, seclusion and cleanliness of this camp are superb!

We had a great time camping at Campfire Lodgings. The premium RV sites have a view that can not be beat! Full hookup mountainside sites with paved spot and picnic area. Picnic table and fire ring provided. We also enjoyed the hiking trails on property. We did have to unhook our water when the temperature dropped below freezing. The driveway...

I recently stayed in a yurt at this campground. I was pleasantly surprised to find the yurt in great condition. It was stocked with coffee, paper goods, towels and linens. Everything was in working order and we especially enjoyed the fireplace in the yurt. Kudos to the decorator of the yurt. The curtain panels were a perfect fit and touch....

So glad you enjoyed your stay in the yurt, especially happy you liked the curtains. Yes, during the fall season when the leaves are off the trees, you can hear some highway noise. Hopefully, you'll come back to visit us.

What a wonderful park!!! In all my years of camping, never have we had the beautiful mountain views that this little park provided. The park itself is beautifully maintained and the staff (Jason and his wife) could not have been more friendly or helpful. I hope we are able to return to Campfire Lodgings again someday.

We have a 25' class C. No problem with the roads or turning around. D13 was the only spot in the park that would not support one of the big rigs (unless you bent it to get around a couple of trees). Spaces were wide & partially shaded. Premium had beautiful views of the valley. Deluxe was $50/night for full...

We found this property searching the internet for stops on a cross country trip we took. The webpage has video taken by drone that was irresistible! I booked our site in January for end of September. The gal couldn't guarantee that I would get my first choice since we were staying on a Tuesday and Wednesday. She did promise I...
