Mount Ulla, North Carolina
Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

We have stayed here before and enjoyed the location being close to the interstate and at a reasonable price for the area. The hotel has a pretty outside appearance and the hotel rooms themselves are spacious and very comfortable. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling and staying in the area.

I stayed here several times when it first opened, but it has lost a few stars over the years. Dark carpeting in halls and rooms makes it feel dingy. I did appreciate the blackout curtains at the windows, since it is right next to I40. I probably won't choose to stay here again.

This private hotel was quite comfortable for our recent stay in Asheville. The beds are really nice and the bathroom as well. Everything was current and spacious within the context of a hotel room. The breakfast was satisfactory, although it would have been nice had they changed some of the options daily instead of the same ole same ole. For...

Unfortunately, this hotel is poorly managed, not very clean or comfortable and overpriced for what it offers. I must say the staff was pleasant. The tiny room for $99 per night was really bad. We had a room facing the highway and in the early morning, it sounded like a race track. The walls were thin so the room was...

The lodge is conveniently located right off interstate 40. Very close to the Biltmore Estate. The lodge is very nice, clean, and cozy. The rooms were a bit small, but it was very suitable for our one night stay. Prices were reasonable and the complimentary continental breakfast was great too! I would definitely stay again.

Don't shy away from the petite queen room if you are traveling single! This was a great room, full of amenities, just cozier! The bed slept great and the in-room coffee was good too! I thought being on the street side would be problematic, noise wise, but my sleep was not disturbed! Nice, accommodating staff and great location for access...

Stayed here two nights. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything - when people in the adjoining room are talking, watching TV, pushing buttons on the microwave, opening and closing doors, and walking across the floor. You can also hear water running through the pipes anytime anyone takes a shower or flushes the toilet. If you make it...

Not knowing anything about Asheville, I reserved room for us at Brookstone Lodge. It turned out to be a well staffed, clean place, a bit tired but clean and comfy. The personable manager told us they are planning a complete remodeling. Be advised, it is not located downtown so you have to drive to everywhere.

A no frills hotel outside of Asheville. The carpet was so dirty it made me question whether it had ever been cleaned (and what that meant for the rooms) The breakfast was ok but we skipped in favor of better options. Second floor room facing the highway with constant noise. I would not recommend it.
