I came here with my boyfriend having read some great reviews. I'm not really sure what they were talking about. We booked a private room which was small but okay. The single beds are pod type deals with a thick curtain for privacy. All of them however opened on to the communal area. They offer free ear plugs and it...

'Hostel' may not be the right word for this place. It is from a sense of having a large number of people living in one fairly open area. But it's not from a standpoint of quality and cleanliness. This place is classy, unique and charming. And it's well maintained with a high quality kitchen, bathrooms, etc. We had a group...

I stayed here in April of 2016. It was clean and somewhat quiet. As some other reviews stated, the lights out policy is from midnight to 8:00AM so if you are an early riser and go to sleep early, bring sleeping mask and earplugs because there is ambient light that threatens a good night sleep.

great place in the center of it all in downtown asheville.....with friendly helpful staff.... clean and comfy....every bed has a lamp and outlet and lockers big enough for your backpack.......and a fantastic kitchen and huge lounge/tv room.... be advised that there are no doors to the rooms....it was not an issue for me as there were not too many people...

I stayed at Sweet Peas for 2 nights last week. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. I have stayed in hostels many times; this was definitely one of the better ones. The restaurant beneath the hostel did not have music while I was there so I did not have any difficulty...

Pricey for a hostel, but not your typical hostel. The pods are great for solo travelers; the private rooms are perfect for a couples getaway on a budget. I'll definitely be back. Great location, clean and modern. Nice shared kitchen and clean bathrooms.

Sweet Peas is very clean and hospitable; all their accommodations (sleeping, kitchen, laundry, bathroom/showers, etc.) are incredibly nice and easy to use. The only thing I did not like was the open floor plan -- other than the private rooms, all bunks and pods had open access to the common areas. Our party had to get up early and we...

Had a great stay at Sweet Peas! Not only is the location perfect in the middle of downtown and near some great restaurants and bars, it's very clean and the staff is very friendly! Had zero issues staying here and it should be noted that this is a hostel, not a hotel, so noise is something to be expected. Bring...

I have mixed feelings about this hostel. It has a great location downtown, and is a nice looking, inviting space with a kitchen & common area, free coffee and tea all day, and they have the option of "pods" (beds with their own privacy curtain, shelves and lamp.) The pod concept is something I've only encountered at one other hostel,...

While it was clean and beautifully presented, there are no doors on the dorms and the walls of the cubicles don't even reach the roof. These rooms all face onto the kitchen and living area. What's more, the hostel is located above a bar which plays music until late. What this means is that it is crazily hard to sleep...
