This hotel is literally within walking distance to so many great places to eat and is right across the street from the LaZoom bus tour which is something you must do! Eat at Salsa's. The best food ever! We ate there twice if that tells you anything. This hotel is dog friendly but be aware of the pet policy of not leaving your dogs alone in the room. Our fur babies barked and caused some disruption when we where on 2 of our Lazoom bus tours (1 hour each) and we got a call from the staff. We returned to the hotel asap but they had taken our dogs out of the room and put them in an office down in the lobby. not cool since one of our dogs tends to bite. We where not made aware of the pet policy and we where mortified when they made us leave the property at 10pm at night because our barking dogs had annoyed several people. But overall the hotel is very nicely decorated, clean and I would stay there again, minus the dogs of coarse. Learned a valuable lesson. I had wanted to stay in an air bnb but the husband wanted to support the downtown area. I guess he will listen to me next time.

The staff is extremely friendly and beyond accommodating! They truly went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They do an adoption teaming with the local adoption agency. (I believe it's called Charles angels, not sure of name) They have an amazing atmosphere as well as great amenities! Starbucks is in the loddy and a fantastic bar called, WXYZ. I work for marriott and I will for sure be staying here in the future! Thank you aloft for such a great experience and superb service!

The staff at this hotel was absolutely amazing. They were very helpful in finding places to visit during our stay. Wonderful room and really enjoyed the way bar in the lobby. The adopt a dog program they have is heartwarming and we would have taken Conner home if he would have gotten along with other dogs. The front desk crew was great and very helpful with our stay.

We checked in yesterday for a weekend escape, first plane trip since COVID hit. The hotel was recommended for its location which is great, you can walk everywhere. I booked a pool side room which was the most expensive but I didn’t mind since we haven’t been on vacation in so long. We arrived at the hotel to find out that the pool is closed until Memorial Day! So now we have a pool side room overlooking a covered pool and it’s a sunny 75 degrees beautiful day. So disappointing! No mention of the pool being closed on the website. The woman that checked us in had zero personality and was going to charge us for parking without even asking if we had a car. Forget about using the gym at the hotel, you need an appointment and of course the appointment they had available was at 5am. Great location and comfortable bed but that’s about it, would not recommend. Oh and the WiFi is terrible!

I was lucky enough to snag one of the Poolside Patio Rooms in time for two unseasonably warm days Asheville in Feb 2021. The outdoor living space felt larger than the actual room and was a great work station by day, and relaxing spot to enjoy wine at night. I can imagine when the pool is open these are hard to come-by. Room is typical Aloft size and style that I'm used to. Clean and comfortable. The bath towels smell over-bleached, but this could be Covid protocol. My skin was left smelling like bleach after using the towels. There is a small fridge provided as well as a hydration station in the hallway - so bring your refillable water bottles! The lobby has been refreshed recently and has a spot for coffee and breakfast in the mornings. Special thanks to Matt, the bartender at WXWZ. I was the only guest at the bar and he kept me company. Aloft is in a terrific location with breweries like Wicked Weed a short walk away and oodles of place to eat, drink, and shop. I will definitely consider the Aloft, and the poolside room for a future stay in Asheville.
