My husband and I recently stayed at the B&B in Asheville and it was a fantastic experience! The hospitality of the Hill House staff is beyond expectation and you really feel like you are visiting a dear friend's home. From the relaxing, expansive porches, quaint and comfortable room (we stayed in Kress), to happy hour and warm, gourmet breakfast; you... More

My wife and I spent 6 days here in early October. The house is lovely and charming. The room are quite spacious. Our king size bed was very comfortable. Breakfasts are excellent. The one nitpicking thing is the shower is one of those hoop things above a claw foot tub. So when taking a shower you are trapped by a... More

My first time staying at a B&B and I am so happy I chose this one! From the room, to the gourmet breakfasts, to the little touches here and there that made everything so enjoyable...I just can't say enough about it. The room (Arcade) was lovely and cheerful and the claw-foot tub was absolutely divine. One small problem with the... More

We love the Hill House Bed and Breakfast, we were there this past week for our fourth stay and as always we enjoyed this lovely, warm and inviting setting. The breakfast is always delicious and served with such care and awareness to the dietary needs of everyone staying there. My husband and I enjoy the delicious fresh brewed coffee and... More

What a beautiful B and B and wonderful accommodations. We stayed in the Hideaway room which is in a separate building behind the main house. It was beautiful and quiet and surrounded by trees. The whole atmosphere of Hill house is one of warmth and friendliness. The breakfast were delicious and they were able to accommodate my gluten-free diet. The... More

Have been to a lot of B & Bs and Hill House ranks on up there with the best. Beautiful very clean rooms. Fabulous breakfast and loved the tradition of all guests breakfasting together. Met some very nice fellow travelers. Well located. One mooring we look a nice walk to the Omni Grove Park, just about 40 minutes walk through... More

Stayed for 3 nights. Hill House is "perfection". Very close to downtown (about a 1 mile walk). Stayed in "Battery Park" room. From the Turkish towels, Egyptian cotton sheets, the beautiful sunroom, the bathroom (the shower is luxurious-the attention to detail is par excellence. 100% comfortable. Breakfasts are fit for a king. Yes, we will stay again.

We are experienced bed and breakfast patrons. Our room was absolutely lovely and provided an extremely comfortable experience. Carie was very helpful and we greatly enjoyed meeting the house staff who provided an exceptional breakfast. The only constructive criticism I could give was the wine/appetizer social hour from 530 to 630. Items were placed out at 530 including wine, vegetables,... More

I feel bad that this guest was unable to find anyone, but either Hill House's resident manager or I check guests in up until 8:00, and all arriving guests know that if they don't see Carey or me in the common areas that I'm likely in the first-floor office and Carey in her apartment. And we make sure that guests... More

We had a relaxing 3 day stay at Hillhouse, the bed and room was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, and we liked the wine and snacks put out at 5 for a pre dinner snack. The location was about a 5 minute drive from downtown Asheville and a close drive to the Biltmore estate which was on our itinerary... More

In town for a two night visit to explore Asheville. Found this B&B on Expedia and decided to try it. Great location, within walking distance of "downtown" (1 mile+-) and convenient to all sights.
