Hill House is well-located and extremely comfortable. It has a pleasant semi-casual vibe, with a huge front porch overlooking a very lovely yard. Sipping a complimentary glass of wine on that porch was a welcome end to a busy day. I didn't find the time to relax in the hammock, so am saving that treat for my next visit. We... More

My wife and I visited Asheville in mid-June and we stayed in the Biltmore Suite. My sister and her boyfriend traveled from their home and stayed in the Flat Iron Suite. Both rooms were great and very comfortable. Each morning breakfast was served on the porch, and the four of us were lucky enough to be joined at our table... More

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at Hill House B & B Inn during a vacation through Georgia and the Carolinas in early summer, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The room was very nice the breakfasts were a treat and the assistance with dinner suggestions as well as local touring was very helpful and much appreciated. During our time... More

My husband and I chose the Hill House B&B on our way to Asheville...while in the car! It was an adventure from the beginning and Hill House gave us a place like home. :) We stayed in the cottage and it was wonderful! We had all the comforts of home plus wonderful breakfasts (I wish I had bought a recipe... More

A beautiful old house near downtown Asheville, NC with a friendly helpful owner and staff. The breakfasts were great on the large porch overlooking the front garden. We loved it and recommend it to anyone. Probably not as good for kids, however.

We had a very enjoyable experience. David and Matthew were very hospitible and made us feel welcome from the time we arrived until the time we checked out. The location is a perfect walk to downtown Asheville which allowed us the ability to participate in the activities of downtown and at the same time enjoy the peace and tranquility of... More

We have stayed twice before at the Hill House. It was owned by another couple at the time. The new owners took over about 6 months before our latest trip and they are working hard to keep up the igh standards the original owners held. The rooms are unchanged and are still quite nice with little touches that make the... More

Hill House is a great place to stay if you're headed to the Asheville area. It's located in a quiet little neighborhood just outside of downtown, and while it's a bit of a hike to get into the heart of town, it's certainly walkable. The B&B has lots of historical charm, and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. We were... More

Hill House B&B is within walking distance of downtown Asheville, has extensive and lovely gardens, and benefits from a special assistant, Matthew. Our particular room, on the ground floor, had a nice view of the garden but was too dimly lit to read in at night because we are elderly and need more light. Most of you would probably not... More
