Read the reviews, decided to form our own opinion. Glad we did! Very nice staff in the office, Ruth went above and beyond to welcome us.Traveled from Washington state to visit Asheville, the hotel provided great maps and recommendations of sights to see, which included historical sights, breweries and great dining experiences. Loved everything about Asheville and The Beaucatcher. Rooms... More

Expected a little better from other reviews. Neither the bathroom sink nor tub drained properly, the shower curtain had significant mold and mildew on the bottom, the bedspread was stained, and cleaning was less than thorough (paper trash on the windowsill in the bathroom, dirty footprints in the entry way). The bed was fairly comfortable and the location is great.... More

This hotel was not clean. First of all, we overpaid big time for this hotel. We stayed in October on a weekend while escaping the coast for hurricane Matthew. There was literally not a single other hotel room/cabin/airbnb/etc in asheville or hendersonville under 350 dollars a night. We paid over 200 dollars a night for this god awful hotel. I... More

Yes, the exterior pictures are a little deceiving. They are undergoing a major renovation and the rooms are about 99% complete. The interiors have all the modern conveniences you'd expect from a chain hotel, even though this is an independent. The manager did tell me that they plan a brand change with a new name, new marquee sign etc. Personally,... More

The place definitely lacks curb appeal currently, but it's obvious by the renovations the current management is actively remedying this. The inside of the rooms have been updated and are very nice, and comfortable. The only blip was that our bathroom door seemed to be slightly ajar on the frame, and didn't close. Otherwise, everything was perfect. We had a... More

We understand that the motel is currently under renovations. Even though the room is small, it is livable. What gets me upset is that upon checking in, I was told by the staff that they will charge additional $100 beside our room rate for incidentals. I was told that when I check out, this $100 will be refunded back to... More

My buddy and I took a 3 day backpacking trip in the smokies and decided we'd rest our muscles with a night of craft beer. Problem is most hotels in Asheville are like 300+ a night. The blue ridge motor lodge is a 300 a night feel for much less! Out side is being worked on and the temporary lobby... More

We decided to stay for our honeymoon becuase the rate was so much more reasonable than downtown. It was clean, the room was had a comfortable vibe, the decor was pretty. We decided to Uber around town, and it was $6 to go downtown during the day and about $12 when we traveled back at night. It was completely enjoyable.... More

Do not overlook this gem. Very reasonable pricing, newly remodeled beautiful rooms & just 5min from the downtown scene. We are so happy with our night stay here. The check in was so smooth, we booked online 5min before arriving.

For the price, an extremely comfortable hotel. The staff were very nice and the rooms have all been very recently done-up. A good location, there are plenty of fast food places around and it's about a 20 minute walk to the centre of Ashville where there are cafes and restaurants. We were very happy with this Motel.
