It was a gorgeous property! Extremely well kept. Friendly and welcoming check-in with Sandra. Lovely room, very comfortable bed and pillows, beautiful simple touches everywhere and excellent breakfast included. It was quiet for sleeping and just perfect for us. Located in a sweet neighbourhood not far from downtown but far enough to be quiet and peaceful. Easy parking lot too.

This is a lovely B&B - stately, beautiful place. It is in the higher price range. For the price we expected everything to be top notch. The area rug in the bedroom wasn't real clean, bathroom tile grout needs cleaning as well as the floor around the woodwork or wall. Sheets getting worn & need replacing. The bedroom we were... More

We stayed here sadly for only one night but loved it! Built in 1924 and full of charm. We had a 3 room suite w/ a king bed but really didn't use the two other rooms but it was roomy and nice to have. We had room 207 at the end of the hall and the bedroom overlooked the garden... More

Overall, we had a good experience. The wine and hors d'oeuvre hour was a nice plus. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was delicious and the coffee was amazing. My only disappointment was the room decor. The room did not have any of it's original characteristics like other historic hotels I've stayed in. The furniture was old and blah. The... More

What a great find!!! We booked this as a last minute trip and were not disappointed. A wonderful hotel with character, the dining room was very nice and service was good. Breakfast was a nice surprise, very different from the normal bacon and eggs and delicious. The bedroom was spacious and clean. The floor squeaked and the shower only had a... More

The Princess Anne is a very old building that is located just outside of downtown in a very nice neighborhood. Great location. The staff is great. Very nice and helpful. The rooms are nice with all necessities. Remember, this is an old building. The floors creak and it takes a while for the hot water to get hot, but it's... More

A beautiful bed and breakfast with great charm and amenities. Lovely neighborhood undergoing revitalization and very close to key spots around town. The dining room is lovely but stick with the fresh ingredients. Happy hour is a delight and an opportunity to meet other guests.

Excellent base for visiting Ashville which is a fantastic city to experience. Staff were attentive and helpful and room was spacious and comfortable. Inn itself is charming and breakfasts were prepared individually, served with great efficiency and varied from day to day.

The hotel is a lovely restored old inn. Suites are very good size, very clean and nice and bright. The staff is very helpful and friendly - ready to give you excellent tips for restaurants and things to do. Breakfast was very good - served in a nice dining room with crisp linens. They also have nice wine and appetizers... More
