Very impressed by the Princess Anne Hotel. Appreciated the wine and nibbles that they served on arrival. The suite was lovely - comfortable bed with stylish furnishings and separate room with a nice sofa. We could walk to the excellent King James Pub. The receptionist was really helpful in advising us on local hikes and printed out directions. The room...

We stayed two nights during the New Year's holiday. Complimentary bottle of champagne was a nice touch. The hotel is sort of a cross between a B&B and small hotel. Room was very nice and bed was very comfortable. Breakfasts (included) were fantastic. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Only complaint was that we had a difficult time controlling the...

We knew our time in the Carolinas was coming to a close, so we took the opportunity to visit Biltmore estate and Asheville. After searching for places to stay, we settled on the Princess Anne hotel. Since this is not a chain, and we haven't been in the area before, it was a gamble that paid off handsomely! A very...

We stayed at the Princess Anne Hotel for 2 nights in room 205. The suite was spacious and lovely. The location is wonderful and close to many attractions. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfasts in the morning. It was very nice to have a time window of 8:30 - 10:00. Wine/hors d'oevre time was also excellent.

I hesitate in writing a review, because I feel like the Princess Anne is a well-kept secret, and I don't know if I want to share! My husband and I stayed here on a weekend away and it was absolutely lovely! It was in a great location - an easy walk to downtown or a quick Uber ride. Our room...

My husband and I have enjoyed staying here several times - it is definitely our choice in Asheville! It is not really walkable to downtown, but just a short drive. The hotel is lovely, all the rooms different and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is delicious! Our most recent stay was in a suite that was more like...

Conviently located, great wine/hors d'oevre hour in the evening, free breakfast is much more than your standard continental. Will likely stay again on our next trip to Ashveille. Easy to get to the Biltmore and downtown Asheville.

This is a lovely old hotel located only about a mile from downtown Asheville. The rooms are spacious and have everything you could want. They serve h'orderves and wine between 4:30 and 6:00 and offer a lovely breakfast with several choices. The staff is very friendly and informative and you can purchase tickets to the Biltmore at the hotel.

Spent the weekend in asheville for our 20th anniversary. Couldn't have been more pleased. Charming old hotel with modern conveniences. Gracious and helpful staff. Afternoon wine and finger food in a old school parlor with lots of local reading. Excellent breakfast selections. Close to downtown, but in a very quiet neighborhood away from the city's frenetic pace.
