We stayed here for 2 days, upon arrival we found multiple hair in both sinks as well as shower, when I touched the nightstand lamp to turn it on my hand was covered in dust, the microwave door was covered in a layer of grease that a simple wipe would have taken care of... Place needs a total overhaul (definitely wouldn't consider this a luxury condominium) and a new cleaning crew... Only good points were the frienliness of staff and closeness to Biltmore. Will not be staying again

This is maybe my 4th or 5th stay here since 2014. First time I've booked a 2br unit. I wanted it to be good bc its my birthday weekend and wanted to show my young adult son Asheville. Our unit is clean, comfortable and nice. Everything works. Big bathrooms. Love the simple switch to turn on the fireplace! Wish we had 1 more day here. Also super close to downtown. I'll book here again.

The hotel seems significantly understaffed and at least some of the staff appear to lack experience. There should be at least one adult on duty at all times. The room had multiple problems — the heat did not work reliably, the fridge malfunctioned, the fireplace did not work, the room safe wasn’t working. We called every day to report these things and were promised they would be attended to. But they never were. Even if everything worked as it should, the hotel should not advertise itself as a luxury condominium. It would take an enormous investment to bring it up to that standard. The false advertising creates expectations that the hotel simply cannot live up to. We have stayed there before and it was better. But it seems to have deteriorated, as many of the recent reviews show. The hotel’s management seems to be blaming the problems on the Covid pandemic, but I don’t think that’s appropriate. This is not a Covid problem. It is a problem of false advertising, inadequate staffing, and an unwillingness to make the investments necessary to keep the hotel in good repair. Maybe the ownership group should sell the hotel to someone who is willing to make the necessary investments. Otherwise I’m afraid it will just continue to deteriorate. For now, I suggest you stay someplace else. Asheville has lots of better choices.

We can assure you that all of our staff members are adults. And unfortunately, our entire area is having difficulty with hiring back staff after the pandemic, as much as we wish that wasn't the case. We're working hard to get our staffing levels back to what they were pre-Covid, however. As far as the condition of the individual units, each owner is responsible for the modernization of their property, but it is our staff who should have made sure your accommodations were up to our high standards. It is upsetting that they did not help with the issues you had, and for that, we apologize. Thank you for the helpful suggestions; we will keep them in mind.

We stayed at the Residences which is perfectly located near the Arts area with hundreds of artists performing their specialty crafts for visitors, the historic Biltmore mansion and grounds, excellent restaurants, and shopping. The beautiful mountains and time of year were also a draw. So, it should have been a wonderful place to stay to enjoy all that Asheville has to offer. We were sadly disappointed by our stay at the Residences. The facility has not been cared for, the pool area was overgrown with weeds, the rooms lacked basic necessities for overnight stay. The staff was inadequate, leaving the poor person at check in as the only one able to bring towels to the room. The facility is not at all as advertised and has fallen into disrepair. An otherwise enjoyable trip was overshadowed by the unfortunate living accommodations. We would not consider staying here again. This has nothing to do with Covid, it has been in a state of decline for sometime.

Location is good. Not downtown but Asheville small enough that things are accessible. Right near Biltmore estate. Room has all that we need. One bedroom suite is really best for three if kids are big. Hard for them to share the pull out sofa. Was comfortable and great to use as base for activities in the region. Think of it as well serviced apartment. So the service in rooms is limited. Basically they refresh the towels and supplies as needed. Small on site restaurant but no breakfast included.
