Historic home nicely preserved and maintained, the staff were wonderful and the breakfast delicious. With a parlor wine/craft beer happy hour it was delightful to meet other guests and exchange stories. Walking distance to old town with lots of restaurants. We loved the front porch swing and pretty grounds. They went out of there way to provide us with a...

This was my first trip to Asheville and we couldn't have stayed at a better place than the Beaufort House Inn. The house was amazing, as were the 2 course breakfast every morning. The wine social hours in the afternoon were an additional surprise. The rocking chairs on the front porch were comfortable, a perfect place for coffee in the...

The house is warm and cozy and the owners and staff are so friendly and hospitable. We had a 2 course breakfast every morning which was delicious and filling. Each afternoon they offered wine in the library/porch. We stayed in 3 rooms-my favorite was the Rose Room (the one that Charlton Heston stayed in). The room was comfortable and the...

My husband and I live in Charleston and we spent a few nights in Asheville after our wedding, as a "mini-moon" to get away after all the festivities. The Beaufort House Inn could not have been more welcoming and gracious. It is located just a few minutes from downtown, is well maintained, and has an incredible staff that will help...

What an outstanding B and B The Inn is beautiful and very quiet. We could walk to town and enjoyed a fabulous breakfast. Jim and Chris were very hospitable and as gracious as can be. They even made by husband a special vegan breakfast! I would highly recommend this inn.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Beaufort House - and both times were really wonderful. Last time we were in one of the cottages and this time we were in a beautiful room in the house (king sized bed on the third floor). The house itself is spectacular, and Chris and Jim are perfect hosts. It's...

The Beaufort House is a gem. The house is beautiful. The hospitality is unparalleled. The breakfasts are as creative as they are delicious. The afternoon happy hour is a great time to meet the other guests. The location is just a bit north of the downtown area. It is a quick drive or a $6-7 cab fare. I don't think...

Beaufort House Inn was the chosen meeting place of five of us who had lived in the same neighborhood in Atlanta back in the 1980's and hadn't seen each other for many years after moving. We hoped for a getaway to renew the friendship and enjoy good food and sightseeing. Jim and Chris Muth, as well as the staff at...
