We have stayed here a number of times. It's very close to the entrance to the Biltmore Estate. It's a throwback to the 50s and 60s when we traveled and stayed in those one story motels along the road. Beautiful property with huge pine trees. Spotless rooms. And so cute. Brings back all those times traveling with my parents and...

We have stayed here several times and love the Forest Manor Inn. It's like taking a step back in time. There is a big shady lawn, chairs out in front of the rooms, a third sheet on the bed, and very friendly, helpful innkeepers. If you are expecting modern or fancy, this is not the place for you. If you...

Phone call August 27 2007 I hope this review is posted. I was very upset after having spoken to the gentleman owner who I felt acted very unprofessionally, particularly in a service industry. From the online reviews I was absolutely ecstatic about staying at the characteristic spot-from the viewpoint of an architecture enthusiast and a staunch supporter of mom and...

I read all the reviews and was so excited to check into the Inn, but once we arrived it wasn't what we expected. We agree with the other reviews that the grounds are nice and well kept, and the owner is so very nice and accommodating, a very sweet man, but the rooms leave a lot to be desired. The...

My family stayed at the Forest Manor Inn for one night in August 2007, at the start of a vacation in the Smokies. When my wife booked this place I was skeptical that an old school independent motel on a main road would be a good place to stay, but fortunately I was quite wrong. The rooms are not fancy,...

We stayed at the Forest Manor Inn the first weekend in August to go the Biltmore Village Arts & Crafts Festival. The innkeepers, Lloyd and Leone Kirk, and their entire staff were very friendly and helpful recommending local restaurants and providing maps. The room was spotless and well maintained.

We were there on July 18, 2007. The FMI is located in pleasant grounds on US 25 not far South of I40. There is some traffic noise, but not serious. It is very clean. It is a nice $79 motel. They do not serve bkfst of any sort. We also found the Province to be worth the money. Not fancy,...

I just returned from a 3-night stay at the Forest Manor Inn and found it to be very charming. It was conveniently located to the many things we had to do across town. Our family was in several rooms and each was different - one had a kitchen, beds and decor differed as well. All were very clean. The owner...

I love the Forest Manor Inn! I would love to own a place like the Forest Manor Inn! Stayed there for 2 nights last December when passing through Asheville. The elderly gentleman who owns and manages the property with his wife basically opened up for me, my husband, and our newborn baby though he had essentially closed for the holidays...

This Inn was such a pleasant experience! Very clean rooms and close to everything! The Innkeepers were most hospitable and helpful with current Asheville events.
