Loved this place. It was close to the finish line, room was incredibly comfortable (excellent pillows), staff was super kind. They gave us free Samuel Adams beers, perfect to celebrate my PR!!!! I highly recommend it.

Visited for business. Nicely situated near copley square. Took back bay express from logan airport and to go meals and breakfasts from a nearby star market, which both saved some cash for shopping:) my room 725 was small but comfortable, having a bath tub and very peaceful room surroundings.

We chose this hotel based upon price and convenience to a college we were visiting. It was extremely clean and the staff super accommodating. Breakfasts in the restaurant were delicious and reasonably priced. Dinner was closed at 10pm, so we missed a meal as our train only got in at 10pm. Unfortunately, there is no room service food on Friday...

This claims to be the second oldest hotel in Boston and although the basic structure of the hotel is clearly dated, the decor is very modern with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. It is a comparatively small hotel but that makes it very friendly and the staff were excellent - very helpful and friendly. We greatly enjoyed...

I stayed here for one night with my daughter whilst visiting local colleges. Overall the hotel is great. We checked in and were offered wine and snacks and shown to our room (611) The room was large and beautifully decorated but the noise from the road (and the air conditioning) will disturb light sleepers. We forgot our camera and the...

This was a great hotel particularly for the Boston Marathon. It is just the next block over from the finish line and close to Hynes Center so accessing the Expo was easy. Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
