This is NOT a kid friendly hotel. Their website states they have roll-away beds that can be brought into a room for $25 but when we arrived with our 3 children they told us they were "too busy" and weren't going to deal with all that. Then they told us the room was too small for a roll away bed...

What a great hotel! The staff was great...friendly and helpful. We were immediately upgraded to a very nice King room, without asking. Location of this hotel is prime. It's right near shopping...Newbury Street and Boylston Street. Plenty of restaurants are to be found there. Also, the tour of Boston on the Duck is 1/2 block from this hotel. Valet parking...

I stayed at the Copely Square Hotel one night on a business trip and was pleasantly surprised - it is an absolutely lovely older property, beautifully renovated and updated but maintaining a classic, old-world type of luxury that is in keeping with its historical setting and the beautiful surrounding area. Everyone on the staff was wonderful, from the car valet...

Had a deluxe king room on third floor facing Huntington. Room was so well insulated you didn't hear the traffic! Room on the small side but crammed with amenities. Bathroom will really only fit one person. Closet was good sized and three drawers available. Room did not get cleaned but they tidied up during turn down service; I'd recommend using...

We stayed here for one night as we has friends in from Ireland and wanted to show them Boston. Although a little expensive we really enjoyed our stay here. From the front desk staff to the valet staff all were friendly and welcoming. The room was bigger than I thought it would be and it felt luxurious. We had a...

There are many beautiful hotels in great locations in Boston. What sets Copley Place apart from the pack is exceptional customer service. On October 4th we had the pleasure of staying at this hotel; I wrote to the General Manager to commend on the exceptional customer service team, namely Erin Poders and Keith Loveless. Our time at the hotel did...

This hotel was a surprise to me when I visited last week. I had picked the hotel for location, but I did not realize that convenience was only one of the elements I would experience here. Great staff, great location. I love being in an older hotel for cool features like a beautiful central staircase (no scary 'emergency exit only' stairs with bad lighting), it's cool to be able to take the stairs to my room. Like others said, the bathroom was remarkably small, but for my one-night business trip it was fine. I was in...

The hotel is in an excellent location, a few minutes walk to copley square (tube line), Newbury Street and Boyleston Street (lots of shops, coffee shops and restaurants) and the Prudential centre, which has excellent shopping and is handy to take shelter if the weather isn't that great. If you take the time to read all of the reviews of the Copley Square Hotel you spot a common theme - great staff / small rooms. The room we stayed in was not much larger than the bed and desk. The bathroom was very small. It's so small that the drinking glasses are not in the bathroom but under...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
