Attended a graduation in Boston and stayed at The Hyatt Regency Boston. First off, the hotel is located in the downtown area of Boston and i must say you are within walking distance of the main tourist area along with the lower life of Boston residence. It gets pretty insecure after 9pm (most shops are closed and the shady residence...

I stayed on the 19th floor, facing west, good views, larger than average room size. Quiet room. Facilities were good and staff very attentive and helpful. Online check in via their app was great and enquiries / requests via that were answered quickly. It is close to the shops (next door to Macy's) and close to subway lines. nearby is...

Went to help my son move into his apartment. I stayed at the Hyatt in the Theater District. The employees were so hospitable. The room was large for any place. If you frequently go to Boston, you know some of the rooms are tiny. It is a stone's throw from the theater venues. The restaurant was very good, and great...

Clean, modern rooms large bathrooms and big TV. Not much in the way of bar/restaurant. Located near financial district and just a few blocks to Chinatown. Good security and helpful knowledgeable staff. Rooms slightly larger than typically found in center city hotel.

Quick weekend trip to Boston and booked hotel at the last minute. Lovely rooms, fluffy towels, comfortable beds, clean rooms and great location. Twenty minute walk to seaport, twenty minute walk to the North end, quick walk to Chinatown, and around the corner from shopping and places to eat. Special mention to Norman. He was very helpful regarding wines and...

Stayed in better in Boston Very average and strange decor - reception lobby awful layout. Can take 20 minutes to get from room to street in busy times as 2 different lifts ?!? V bad design. Staff - reception staff off hand and short Will return to the Marriott , Copley Place - Far superior and more professional friendly staff

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
