My daughter and I stayed in unit #5 for a week. It was a quaint room with a comfortable bed, gorgeous chairs a kitchenette and attached bathroom. It was very clean and tidy and the linens and towels were kept fresh. Owner's met us at the door when we arrived Sunday night with a smile and laugh. Wonderful people! I... More

We stayed here for a week at summer 2015. I was attending academic conference in MIT and visited other nearby universities. My girlfriend wandered around the city to learn more about Boston. Therefore, South-End was perfect location for us due to close proximity to shopping centers and local restaurants as well as easy access to public transportations around Boston, Cambridge... More

The location is indeed convenient. As the guest stated it has a lot of charm and makes you experience living like a local, which is what a lot of travelers enjoy. There are many updates, however. And the microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker provide an extra should you chose not to dine out all meals. Boston is very expensive. We... More

Fabulous spot near Copley Square! The T is a five minute walk, even though we only took it once since everything is within walking distance. Jose is a delight! Very helpful and accommodating. He recommended the Beehive right up the street...super cool with live jazz. The room was super spacious and had a fridge, little coffee maker, microwave, toaster, hot... More

I am so happy that I was able to stay at Verona's B & B when I came to Boston to pick up my daughter after a summer with Boston Ballet. The studio was only about 2 blocks away! Beautiful, safe neighborhood. Trendy restaurants nearby-all within easy walking distance. Just to get a better feel for the city, I walked... More

Building is attractive. Room is spacious and attractive. Kitchen amenities in room are just right: hot plate, microwave, a few dishes. We were in unit 3 and whoever was in the unit above us was quite noisy for a few hours each night, seeming to drag furniture across the floor, walking with thudding footfalls. During the day I wouldn't mind,... More

We stayed in two different rooms. The first one was a regular room I believe on the second floor. It was very nice, very clean, and very quiet. Then we stayed for 3 nights on the 4th floor (room 7) which is like a small apartment with a large kitchen/dining room/living room, and a bedroom, and bathroom all on one... More

I was very happy with the Verona B& B. The location and price were great, especially for the Boston Marathon. I was pleased they did not try to ream us during the Marathon weekend like all the hotels in town do. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast is not provided, but there are plenty of nearby places to... More

Staying in South End

Neighbourhood Profile

Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
