The entire staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Randy at the front desk did a super job. Kish reserved a tour for us and even came up the street to see we got on the trolley. She also gave us good directions to the church we attended Sunday morning. We will definitely stay there next...

I checked in very late (11:00 PM ) and checked out very early (5:00 AM) so cannot speak to certain aspects of this hotel. The location is directly across from the Boston Garden which could make for a noisy night should there be an event going on at the Garden. The rooms are large but not very well kept. The...

I thought this would be a decent place to stay since it was close to the North End where we like to be, but I was wrong. First off they didn't have the luggage cart when we showed up. We were told it's lost and apparently nobody was bothering to look for it. With only five small floors it would...

My husband and I are very pleased with our choice to stay at the Holiday Inn Express on Friend Street. The hotel staff is most personable and we feel very appreciated as guests. Christine at check-in has gone above and beyond to help us navigate the city, Lamin and another gentleman who is new helped us with valet service -...

The location of this hotel is ideal as it's a quick walk to Fanneuil Hall, Quincy Market, etc., and directly across from Boston Gardens. There are many restaurants and bars conveniently located also but from the time you pull up, you feel like you're in a back alley. Granted the hotel is very old and they've done a great job...

We found the hotel clean and inviting, but the best attribute was the staff. The front desk personnel were very helpful with answering questions, printing directions, etc. We were visiting during a heat wave, and when we came back to retrieve our car after already checking out, one of the front desk employees even offered us a popsicle to cool...

This hotel is in a great location. Across the street from the TD Garden and trains and a short walk to Faneuil Hall and North End. The hotel is a little older but fairly well maintained. My family of 6 booked 2 rooms at this hotel for 3 nights in early August. I like the HI Express brand in general as a comfortable and affordable family accommodation with nice freebies like breakfast and wifi. There were a few things that really made this one stand out for me, however. First, the location can't be beat. This...
