Our room was on the second floor in the front corner so you could hear street noises in the morning and evening. Overlooking that, it was a Great Location. It's within walking distance of almost everything in Back Bay; university, museums, train and subway station, and restaurants. The kitchen and bath were clean with plenty of hot water. The frig...

We were very happy with this choice. Great location and good value for money. Staff were very friendly. Would stay here again but you do need to book as it is very popular. Rooms are basic but very comfortable.

This was a great home base for seeing Boston with my daughter. The individual apartments in Back Bay brownstones was charming. The staff was wonderful and tried to resolve any issues we had. Parking was tight but worked for us.

If you plan on staying in the Back Bay area of Boston you might check out the Copley Inn. We stayed there at the end of November 2013 and found the place to be well cared for, nicely furnished, and with a very helpful and friendly staff. The small kitchenette was perfect with a fridge, stove, coffee maker, plates, and...

I loved it. Not sleek, hard and chic but small, cosy and personal. Large 'suite' with kitchenette and proper table to eat and/or work at, very comfortable bed, thoughtful staff in the office eager to help - as in help not fuss. Steps away from the Prudential Mall with more bling shops than I could walk, fabulous Brasserie Jo and...

This a funky, inexpensive and convenient inn. It is in a cool old building with bay windows and kitchenette. The rooms are basic with funky furnishings and rough towels. What makes this a good deal is the price and location. Walk to several sites, one block to green line and two to orange and Amtrack to NY. A block to...

I stayed in a small apartment. Yes it was small, but it had everything I needed ie a modern kitchen, a good bathroom, a table, TV etc, and free wi fi. The window could be opened, a bonus. I had no problem with noise from other guests. Location is terrific..just walk down Newton st and you will come to a...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
