Next door to historic Old State House and convenient to Quincy Market and other tourist sites. Easy access to the subway. Spacious, modern room. Restaurant not open yet, but the continental breakfast in the lobby area was good and products high quality

The hotel is very nice, amenities are good (gym, rooms...), position is perfect, but even people whispering can be heard from neighboring rooms - and I can tell you that people have discussions at 2am as well as phone conferences at 5am!

Visited for one night before a New England adventure with the wife, and was treated to a great experience. Rooms were cozy with a smart layout, the shower stalls with the glass wall facing the bedroom made the room feel bigger than it was. Still curious where the reflection of the chandelier behind the mirror on the 7th floor comes...

At check in we were met by the bellman Derek. He was helpful and knowledgeable of the area and interesting activities. He recommended some great and fun places that we followed up on for our St Patty's frivolity. We had requested an early check in and were accommodated immediately upon arrival. The lobby has a cool touch screen for pointing...

I stayed here on a business trip. Upon arrival the staff were friendly and courteous and the place is old and full of character. The room was very tastefully finished and to a high standard and I had an impressive view over the Boston skyline looking out towards the sea. The hotel also has a small gym. At the time...

This hotel has very nice, comfortable clean rooms with modern amenities. Its probably a little too big to call it a boutique hotel, but it does feel like it. I would definitely stay here again when I come back with my spouse or with friends.

As a Hilton Gold member, I really wanted to like the Ames but there were just too many disappointments, too many better choices nearby. The room was surprisingly small, and if you normally travel with a yoga mat, don't bother as there really is no place to stretch out. The room was also rather dark, with no supplemental lighting in...

Thank you for choosing to stay with us while in Boston TreasuryBill. We do appreciate you business and allowing us to be part of your Hilton family of brands. In the heart of Boston's business district, just moments from the freedom trail. The Ames Boston is a bit of a work in progress - the building has been massively modernised into a stylish 21st Century boutique hotel, but they are still working on a restaurant. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
