Was here during a conference and found it to be a good stay. Room was a good size. What I really enjoyed was the breakfast which was a nice treat before heading out for the day. The staff is also extremely friendly at this location. There is a lounge where people seem to meet up, with some TVs and a...

The staff does make sure you are comfortable and willing to do anything to make it, if you aren't The room service menu was very good and nice selection. We ordered Room Service for most of our meals and were very happy.

We were in town for the weekend, and wanted to be central to shopping, restaurants, etc. But we didn't want to spend hundreds on a hotel room night. This was the perfect option. Newly appointed rooms, good service and a fantastic location! The amenities were quite good. We would come back!

Excellent hotel in a great location near the theater district, restaurants, lounges, clubs, 15 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes walk to a trolley stop, 20 minute walk to the Quincy Market area, not to mention right next door to Tuff's Medical Center. Very good $ breakfast, friendly staff, would definitely stay again.

We have traveled in December for a long weekend with friends the past 4 years. This year we choose to go to Boston, an excellent decision! We chose the DoubleTree because of prior experience with DoubleTree properties and the location. That too was an excellent choice. The staff was great and offered help where and when ever they could.

The hotel is a smaller size with only 6 floors. They have access to the YMCA which is connected but you have to go outside from the 2nd floor to the elevator to the Y. You must have a govt issued ID as well as your room key to enter since they have daycare. It isn't the most glamorous fitness...

Convenient and well priced. Great hotel for the money in the city. Orange line is less than a block away. Starbucks in the lobby. Very quiet as well. I would and have recommended this hotel again. It's great.

We recently just returned from a trip to the states which included a 2 night stay in the Doubletree Hotel in Chinatown. Although it was out about 10 mins taxi to the wharf area, the hotel was definitely somewhere I would stay again. Every staff member that we encountered over the 3 days were extremely and genuinely friendly. Exactly what...

I am in Boston frequently and always stay here given the walking distance to Tufts, Boston Commons, and Boylston. A Starbucks located in the lobby, and new fitness room, and update rooms. The staff is always happy and helpful.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
