The Kimpton chain has every detail covered down to an excellent mini-bar, complementary wine tasting in the afternoon. The room is a bit small but consistent with many other newer hotel rooms. The hotel is impeccably clean and the staff was very accommodating.

We stayed at the Kimpton Nine Zero in Boston for a long weekend anniversary trip. Both our first time in Boston & first time staying at a Kimpton property. Overall, there is nothing bad to say about our stay. The location seemed perfect, we walked most places from Back Bay to North End, the Freedom Trail and everywhere in between.The... More

The staff was wonderful; the concierge was incredibly capable and well informed. The room and atmosphere were classy and conformable. And Kimpton Nine is conveniently located on the Freedom Trail a great starting point for those (like us) new to Boston. My wife and I spent our anniversary there, recommended for couples.

Used this hotel as the starting point to our USA and Canada trip. Situation in the city is excellent. The hotel is clean and well presented and the staff were excellent and very helpful. We ate breakfast there and were very pleased with the quality of the food served. The only downside was mainly out of control of the hotel,... More

Spend the Columbus Day weekend at Nine Zero, we were traveling with our baby boy (7 months old) and our dog. The hotel made sure we have a baby crib in our room and didn't charge any fee for the dog. Very clean, friendly staff, awesome valet, excellent location!

I have stayed at this hotel several times and should have written a review sooner! This is one hotel where I always sleep well -it's beds are comfy and rooms are quiet. The hotel is fun and funky. I chose the Nine Zero in Boston for a quick overnight business trip. The reasons I chose this is because I love Kimpton hotels, their kimpton karma membership, and the Nine Zero looked great for the price. The staff, food, and rooms were top notch. I usually am able to check into my room before normal check in time and... More

We spent two days in Boston at the Nine Zero hotel. It is conveniently located right on the Freedom Trail within walking distance of all of the major sites of Boston. Fanuel Hall and Quincy Market are only about 4 blocks from the hotel. Another 4-5 blocks gets you to the North End with all of the great Italian restaurants... More

We recently stayed here for 2 nights. Hotel is only few steps from the Freedom Trail. The staff was very helpful. We had a oversized van and bicycles we needed help storing. Sheriff and Binny were very helpful with all of this. We appreciated their welcoming, helpful attitude.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
