While the Embassy Suites by Hilton Boston at Logan Airport is heralded for its prime location near the airport, opinions diverge on the hotel's value, with numerous travelers voicing their dissatisfaction regarding high rates and a questionable cost-to-quality ratio. The rooms are often praised for their cleanliness and space, yet some guests have experienced discomfort and noise disturbances. Customer service seems to be a hit or miss, impacting guest impressions. Despite these mixed reviews, the hotel's overall atmosphere is considered comfortable and amenities such as the complimentary breakfast and airport shuttle are popular features.

Loving it here so far, day one! Walking distance to ferry for $2.49 per person one way. Great park and walking nearby. Cookies and water when we returned. Great, clean rooms, friendly staff. Has hair dryer, soap and shampoo. Has fridge and coffee maker.

Stayed three nights during a business conference. As a Diamond member, I appreciated being "upgraded" to a room on the top (10th) floor, but the rest of this stay was not so great. Normally, Diamonds receive snacks on arrival, but none were offered. I didn't mind that so much, but several other minor things add up to lower stars…

The breakfast was terrible for an Embassy Suites. While others I've stayed at still (or restarted) omelet or other "made to order" breakfast items, the only options here was a buffet with overcooked bacon, scrambled eggs, pancakes that were like cardboard, and bagels. They didn't even have any bread items other than plain bagels. (Why not at least plain bread for toast, if not muffins, etc.?!!) The coffee was AWFUL. There were no pepper packets, just one pepper shaker by the buffet. Oh, and for those "cardboard pancakes" I did try my first morning there, well forget trying to get a little cup of syrup… none available so you have to try and get your plate under the coffee dispenser they are using for "hot syrup" (although it wasn't even hot!) to try and dispense it from there. I've had WAY better breakfasts at Hampton Inns prefab breakfasts!!
What made it all the worse is that there is a little coffee stand next to the breakfast are SELLING Starbucks coffee and… yes, very good looking muffins and other pastry items like what SHOULD have been a part of the Embassy Suites buffett section. I suppose they must not be making enough from their still high room prices to support a true breakfast, so they have resorted to selling the "best" breakfast off to the side!!!

In the room, the bed was the hardest I've ever experienced at an Embassy Suites. There were no plastic cups available for the room, so the paper coffee cups are the only cups available for water. Nice that they left 4 bath towels, but why then only 2 washcloths? (Doesn't housekeeping understand "sets"?) The room did at least seem clean.

I definitely won't be staying at this Embassy Suites again and would not recommend it. There are FAR better options nearby. I'm still giving it 3 stars for the room size, cleanliness, and at least having a bar open (although I did not try that.)

We appreciate you taking the time to share your honest feedback. It's disheartening your stay with us was disappointing. We strive for quality so it's unfortunate that our breakfast services were lacking and the bedding in your room didn't meet your expectations. We also regret that our extra amenities were less than ideal. The type of experience that you're describing is not up to par with the usual top notch standards that we're used to providing. We'll be sure to discuss all of your concerns with our team moving forward so that we may improve for the future if our guests. We hope you'll give us another opportunity to host you again soon for a more positive experience.

My boyfriend and I stayed here last October when we went to the opening weekend of Big Night Live to see a concert and when we planned a Valentine's trip we immediately wanted to go back to your hotel!! We are planning another trip to Boston July 10-12 in 2020 and depending on the pricing we are very confident we will end up back at Boston Logan Airport Embassy Suites although the pricing seems so much higher that weekend for some reason and it would be amazing if there was some sort of promotion or customer service perk we could get for our loyalty. Let me put it this way. I have been to approximately 12 hotels in the last 2 years and this hotel is by far my favorite stay. We love it <3

In these trying times I’ve refrained from writing hotel reviews because I’m aware as to how negatively the Covid-19 crisis has impacted the hotel industry. As the economy is slowly waking up, hotels are still constrained by health regulations while operating with minimum staff. Therefore I typically check in not expecting anything more than what was promised and of course, decent customer service. While some hotels are making an effort to still go beyond what is expected, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Boston at Logan Airport fell far short of the minimum standard I described above, and that is why I feel the need to make an exception and warn fellow travelers that their money could be better spent somewhere else.

I stayed for one night on 6/13 and checked out at 5AM the next morning. I booked the Business Plus rate on the Hilton Honors Website for $175. This rate was supposed to include a $15 food/beverage certificate, premium WiFi, and 750 bonus points.

My colleague and I arrived at Logan Airport at 2PM on a Saturday only to find out that the shuttle service didn’t start till 3PM. Upon check in, we weren’t given the $15 food/beverage certificate that was promised in our rate. The rationale was that their restaurant was closed. However, their 24hr “Pantry” was fully stocked and yet we were offered nothing but two bottles of water and shrugged shoulders. At this point I was even skeptical about the promise of premium WiFi, so I confirmed with the front desk employee at least that would be granted. But of course upon check out there was an internet charge. Rather than simply remove the charge, the female behind the counter wanted me to describe the employee that I spoke to the day prior (again, this was clearly included in the rate on the Hilton Honors Website). After the internet charge was finally hashed out, she didn’t even bother to offer me one the the very limited breakfast items that were behind her in a mini fridge. Her reasoning? Apparently breakfast doesn’t start until 6:30AM on weekends! Nevertheless out of the goodness of her heart she allowed me to have a microwaveable breakfast sandwich which she handed to me straight from the fridge. I actually had to ask her to microwave it. SMH!

On a positive note, the room was updated and clean. The hotel is also located in a very nice part of Boston with beautiful and historic architecture. If the weather allows, it’s the perfect area to just walk around. Nevertheless, I wouldn’t consider staying at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to any of my friends or colleagues.

I picked this hotel because (1) it was easy to access to/from the airport and downtown Boston (where I had my meetings), (2) I try to stay at Hiltons, and (3) the daily rate was below the govt. per-diem. I am glad I stayed there. The staff was friendly and professional, the b'fast buffet was very nice and the Blue Line train station was about a 5 min walk away.

Recently stayed at the Embassy Boston Airport . The hotel and room were very clean. Hot breakfast included and there is a large lobby area for seating. It would have been nice to have bottled water offered in the morning. All hotel employees we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Some rooms with [distant] city view. The hotel provided 24 hr shuttle service to/from BOS airport. If driving there is limited parking, additional charges, at the hotel. I believe the parking is valet only. We hired a car prior to visiting Boston and dropped it at the Boston Airport car rental facility. From the car rental facility it’s a short, maybe 5-Minute walk to the hotel. Very easy, just around the corner. It would be equally easy to rent a car for a day trip from the hotel. The metro is a safe, short walk across a public park, 5-minutes. This is the Airport Station (Blue Line) and is two stops to downtown Aquarium Station, three stops to State Street station, so it was very easy getting into the city. Cost each way $2.40 unless you have a student or senior card. At the Airport Station, the metro rep was handing out free loadable metro cards. Once preloaded we could travel without purchasing a ticket each time. Very easy to connect, without additional charges, to other line to get to other parts of the city. There is not a lot of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but we walked about 20 minutes to find good cafe style restaurants and a couple of groceries. Most in the vicinity of Maverick Station. Although this hotel is removed from downtown, it is much more affordable with quick city access. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Boston.

This Embassy Suites has a very convenient location around the corner from the rental car returns if you need to drop off your rental and stay the night before flying out. There is a park directly across the street and if you walk through it you will find a train station that goes into Boston. The floor of our room had obviously NOT been vacuumed as there was popcorn all over it, but otherwise the room seemed pretty clean. Would have been a solid 4 had the floor not been dirty.

We choose to go to Boston for our summer vacation. After much research we choose the Embassy suites because it is nice to have a separate room other than only have a bedroom. The hotel still follows some of the covid restrictions but masks for the vaccinated were not needed. Housekeeping was only if you requested it the day before but they informed you of this upon check in. It was easy to get most items if you ask. We did however ask for an extra blanket and were told they could get us one later in the day but laundry was not done on the premises so we would need to wait until later to get one. Breakfast was the same for the six days. Eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, bread or bagels, cereal. in boxes, but it was sufficient each day. The location is great a short walk across the park and you were at the train station to boston. The second stop and you were in Boston.

The property has been updated since our last stay n 2008 and everything looked great! The location was perfect to drop off our rental car - literally a VERY short walk to the hotel and a very short shuttle ride to the airport terminal. It is also conveniently located to the train to take into downtown. Only $4.80 round trip for a 5-10 minute ride. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated all the outlets in the suite. The breakfast was okay - I think some items could be added and real dishes could be used. The staff could still serve everyone. Also, air pots of coffee would be so much better! Overall, a great stay!

I paid for my room in full when booking over the phone. At the time of booking, I asked multiple times to make sure I would NOT need a credit card for a deposit when I checked in. I was assured that because I paid in full, I would not need a credit card. It also states online that the hotel does accept cash, so I brought cash with me just in case.

After two long flights of just me and my toddler, we arrived at the hotel around 1:45 am. The manager who checked me in asked for a credit card for a deposit, and I explained that I had confirmed with fully paid reservations I would not need a card. He demanded to know the name of the person who told me “it was fine.” I explained that I didn’t remember the name of the person (I booked the hotel about a month prior to my trip, and it was 1:45 in the morning…) and he said he REALLY needed to know who gave me that information because it’s not okay. I told him I had cash and would be happy to pay a deposit in cash, but instead he just said, “okay, we’ll I’m gonna need your ID then. I’m gonna hold your ID at this desk and you can ask for it after we make sure your room is okay at checkout.”

I have no problem surrendering my ID or even paying a cash deposit. I would have been fine with paying a deposit up front when I booked the room and paid in full a month earlier. What was NOT great was being berrated as a single mother with a toddler at almost 2 am by a hotel manager 3000 miles from home. Hopefully if I stay here again, I can avoid this man altogether.
