the hotel was nothing like the website would have suggested. It was a low-end, minimalist hotel. It looked and felt like a dorm or jail cell. The furnishings reinforced that feel with a corner sink (no vanity) and a Formica shower stall with plastic door. You had to turn sideways to get past the beds. The room had no amenities...

Good bed and linens. Professional and pleasant staff. Good location. Close to restaurants and shopping. Front desk will call a reliable taxi company for you. Hospitality room is a good idea but somewhat inconvenient for the guest staying close to it. I find Boston hotels overpriced and this is one of the decent properties in the lower price range.

Pros: - great location - Post 390 & Flour on the same block; eat at both! - comfy bed - friendly & accommodating staff Cons: -super tiny room: with a king bed, you could barely walk into the room. Typical for Boston I guess though -No on site parking -bathroom was somewhat scuzzy and in need of an update, including...

The hotel was so close to Amtrak & The T that booking was a no brainer. Then they went ahead and gave me a confortable room, great service and wonderful staff so now, returning is a no brainer as well.

Very comfort room. Clean, quiet and cozy. There are TV in the room, soft mattress, quick warm water system. Very nice room design. One problem is that the wifi is too slow maybe the room is too far from the center. Everything else is good. I enjoyed it a lot.

The heater in the room was too loud, it was difficult to sleep, it made a big noise about every thirty minutes. Location was good, and the rest of the hotel was clean, room a little on the small side for two people.

I came in , landing and snowing heavily without a possible connection to get out of town. Found the hotel online. Reasonably priced. Very friendly people. Clean room and bathroom. Old building creatively renovated. Room a bit on the small side but I had a relaxing rest. Bonus- very good restaurant just across the street. Important as the snow blew...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
