Hotel is situated in a perfect spot to tour Boston. On the water and walking distance to downtown Boston. We did so much walking we had to Uber it back to the hotel on one of our days. We had a king size room that was very comfortable. Plenty of room for 2. The concierge was very knowledgeable and showed...

Excellent location in Seaport area of Boston. The front desk staff are always helpful. The quick breakfast area is perfect and has an excellent waitress who is always happy. The gym is well equipped with machines and free weights and the hotel has an excellent pool.

Second stay here for a business meeting. Comfortable accommodations, excellent good, responsive room service. Good location. Not in the middle of the business district or tourist areas, but all of those are accessible.

It might sound like a song, or very spoilt, but we've been to Intercontientals in Athens, Lisbon, Vienna, New York, San Francisco, Atlanta, Chicago, LA... and this is is the top of the bunch. From the rooms, to the service, to the food. The Club Intercontintal is probably the best, their weekend breakfasts really can set you up for the...

This is a beautiful hotel! It is also in walking distance to just about everything. I was in town for a conference, so I did not get to enjoy my room as much as I wanted to. The rooms are spacious and relaxing. This hotel also has a great fitness center! I'd stay here again!

InterContinential Boston is our favorite place to stay in the city. The hotel is modern, clean and fresh, and the staff are truly exceptional. The rooms are large and functional, and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. Having a shower as well as a tub gives nice optionality. The location is great for access to the Financial District, Seaport,...

We stayed at this hotel for the Boston marathon that my girlfriend participated in. The hotel was top notch. Excellent service, rooms were very spacious, room service was quick and professional, concierge service was very good, I would highly recommend to anyone that travels to Boston to stay there. By far one of the top hotels I have stayed at.

This hotel was very nice, clean and the staff their were quite friendly. From check in to check out the experience made me feel like I was upper class! The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were HUGE. My kids really loved the pool and the fitness center had state of the art equipment. The only negative I can say...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.

“There was no refrigerator in our room. We could of used one for drinks and desserts we could not eat at dinner, but brought back to the room for a late night snack. That is just how we travel, if you usually don't need a refrigerator, then it's perfect for you. It was a fantastic room even without the fridge.”
