I'm the type of business traveler who misses home and thus, feel that if I can't be at my own house, might as well be at someone else's. The Nolan House makes you feel completely at home in the middle of the historically-Irish, now gentrifying South Boston (Southie, as they call it here), in a very cool old (1850s?) three-story...

This B+B is located in a largely residential area in South Boston and was a 20 minute walk from the convention center (BCEC). John was a gracious host and made my stay very comfortable. There was a shared bathroom which worried me at first, but was not an issue at all. (Shared with 1 other room). Don't bring young children...

Wonderful old house that is topped only by the gracious hospitality. Rooms are large, beds and bedding comfortable with thoughtful touches such as lots of cozy quilts, bedside tables with lamps, a small fridge for left overs and bottled water, more than enough towels. The furnishings are lovely and the art is interesting. The decor is a little cluttered -...

This B & B has a lot of character and old world charm. The room we had had a shared bathroom with one other room, but this was not a problem for us. The TV was small (a larger one would have looked out of place) but the WiFi was excellent. The host John is a lovely man who is...

My husband & I stayed here for a week in September. John made us very welcome. The room was up 2 flights of stairs which if you are mobile is no problem. We had a shared bathroom, but we found that no problem either. The room had a lot of character and good air conditioing, which we needed as the weather...

Whenever I attend a conference in Boston, I like to stay here. John is a gracious host with lots of good local information. There is always a nice group of folks at the breakfast table to chat with before attending a day of lectures. I have a preference for this section of Boston, homey and neighborly, and a much more...

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights and are very pleased with our stay. The B&B is located about 10 min by bus or a 25 min walk to downtown Boston, which makes it a quiet location to stay. Very close to the new Conference centre. John is a great host and will prepare a good breakfast for you....
