We spent 6 nights in this B&B (Aug. 14th to 20th). John & Kathy are really kind and helpful. The rooms and bathroom are charming, clean and well equiped (fridge, TV, air conditioning, etc.) The breakfast is really awesome (salty or sweet according the day) with many choices. During this breakfast, John discussed with us, and told us many stories...

My husband and I stayed at Nolan House for our first trip to Boston. We were there for three nights over the New Year Holiday. We were extremely pleased with our experience. The house has character and charm but is still clean, neat, and warm (it was7 degrees outside one day!). It is an older building with winding halls and...

We stayed at the Nolan house for 3 nights in August. While it is located in South Boston, it is easy to get around using buses and the metro (10 minute walk), and we really appreciated getting to see something of the city outside of the centre. Kathy and John were really welcoming and helpful, setting us up on the...

Be aware that this B&B is located in a somewhat out-of-the way neighborhood in South Boston. However, buses go nearby, so you can get wherever you want fairly easily. It is about a 20 min walk to the convention center, which is quite out of the way itself. And the B&B is an extremely good value for Boston, which is...

Nolan House (Hmmmm) My wife & I had a one night stay in October 2008. Lets start by being positive.See beyond the exteriors peeling paintwork, cluttered entrance hall and the tired and extremely threadbare stairway carpet. Our room, on the first floor was clean, pleasing appearance with nice little decorative touches and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was cereal, yoghurt,...

Just spent 6 nights at Nolan House. It's a great place from which to explore Boston and further afield. John and Kathy are very welcoming and provide you with information on your first night to get you started on your holiday. Nolan House is located in a very safe neighbourhood and there are a number of reasonable priced places to...

We stayed at Nolan House for four days and really spent a great time. John and Kathy are very helpful and the breakfast is just great. Our room was very nice and clean. So was the bathroom. The location is great (near bus stop and beach) and it takes about 10 minutes by bus to get to the city center....

Of course this B&B is well situated, in a quiet neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of Boston city. And with a bus stop around the corner. And yes, John is a nice man, with an undercooled sense of humour. And the rooms are nice and the bathroom spotless. And the deck on top of the roof allows a...

We are a family of four people from the UK (2 adults and 2 teenagers) and we stayed at the Nolan House for 2 nights in August 2008. The accommodation (on the top floor) was gorgeous - stylish, clean and a home from home. John and Kathy were excellent hosts (very interesting to talk to) - they provided a beautiful...

We spent three nights with John and Kathy at their lovely, old fashioned and friendly house. I just can say that this is the kind of lodging we would love and immediately sign for to find wherever we go. I am convinced we are going to book with them in the future.
