Room was comfortable, and queen bed was good. The kitchen is set up with dishes and pans only. No salt and pepper or spices, or anything that might attract pests. The heat/AC is controlled centrally by the management company so you have to call the number on the door to get it adjusted. Bus and subway stops within 3-4 short...

We stayed here for three nights as part of a two week tour of the USA. After a long flight, upon arrival and easy use of the key pad for access we found our apartment to be absolutely ransacked. Empty alcohol bottles, rubbish everywhere, bedding on the floor, the bathroom was littered with dirty towel. I had to call the...

We rented a studio apartment for 7 nights. Access was via a key pad on the front door and a key pad on the apartment door. The studio was snug with a small kitchen area. The bathroom was tidy and there was a good supply of toiletries and linen. There were some little niggles. The fridge was very noisy so...

The studio we stayed in was ideal for our few days in Boston. The place was very clean and comfortable with everything you could need provided in the kitchen and bathroom. They left us a selection of fruit juice and oatmeal which was really good for people travelling on a budget! The building is really well presented and secure and...

Had a lovely stay at the Boston Christopher in March 2017. Such good value compared to the hotels in the city; we paid half upfront upon booking and the other half came out easily 2 weeks before our arrival. We stayed in apartment 3 and the place was cosy and comfortable, equipped with good wifi, a little kitchen and a...

I stayed here for two nights in January in a studio, which was cosy and very clean. The apartments are located slightly out of the city centre, but it's easy to get to all the major sites on foot or using public transport. I would give a higher rating, but on my first night I couldn't sleep as the refrigerator...

We stayed in the Boston Christopher for 7 nights in November 2016. The apartment is everything you would need for a trip away. The decor was so quirky, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need (even prosecco glasses, lol). The shower in the bathroom was so powerful and all the mini shampoo/conditioners were a great touch. The location is...

We stayed in suite 7 and were very pleased. We had some trouble with our booking due to a mistake on the credit card number, and the office was extremely helpful with getting that problem fixed. The location is wonderful for walking the city and subway travel. The Union United Methodist Church was a beautiful view out our windows. The...

Lovely apartment, great location, friendly neighbourhood. They let us leave bags at nearby hotel until later in the day. Had a small welcome pack upon arrival, coffee, instant oats etc. Would stay here again. It's just like a hotel but without the receptionist.

We'd looked at hotels in Boston which came up very expensive; we wanted to stay 5 nights and we got a great deal here. The access codes were e-mailed to us and we took the train from New York; as we didn't know Boston we took a short taxi ride to our apartment. (Now we know it's round the corner...

Staying in South End

Neighbourhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
