Very good hotel; very clean, and good location which was a very pleasant walk through a park to the Boston Common and Freedom Trail. The route of the walk was suggested by the very helpful front desk staff.

We chose the Chandler Inn for a whirlwind weekend to Boston due to its price and its proximity to Symphony Hall. The Inn's South Boston neighborhood proved friendly and charming. As the desk clerk had assured us when we checked in, the mile or so walk to Symphony Hall was very safe. (Worth noting: City traffic laws are protective of...

The Chandler Inn Hotel was a pleasant place to stay for 3 nights in October. It is conveniently located near the Back Bay Orange line T Station (subway/metro) which also serves commuter rail and buses. It is not far from other stops as well. To get there from the station you walk around the block down a brick sidewalk past...

Solid place to stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bar downstairs offered a great breakfast for a reasonable price. Pretty well located to everything we walked everywhere and the trolley was nearby for hop on hop off tours. As a couple it would have been nice for a double bed (we had two singles) But it didn't really...

I'll start with the positives: the bed was comfortable and the staff was ok friendly. The negatives are a bit longer: the towels were stained, the sheets had hairs on it, general cleanliness was ok at first glance but not really at a closer look. Carpet needed vacuuming, tv was a pain to work out, lamps didn't work all the...

This hotel is a short walk from Back Bay train station. Small but welcoming, clean and quiet. Room does not have tea or coffee making facilities however is available at the front desk anytime. Bar/Restaurant adjoins the hotel The Trophy room (not sure that room service is an option though) I will happily stay again

Room modern, clean and comfortable but not much space for hanging clothes up. Good location, near to lots of restaurants and probably 15/20 minutes form Boston Common. Friendly receptionists , coffee available all day and night. Hotel is above a bar/restaurant called The Trophy room which we went into once and found it to be very good although didn't eat...

Pros: Friendly helpful staff, perfect walking distance to Back Bay T stop, restaurants, Copley Square etc., good value compared to other hotels. Clean. Quiet. Free coffee tea in lobby. Cons: small room, tiny bathroom, no closet or safe. No coffeepot. We were there for 4 nights and even though it lacked space we would definitely stay here again because of...
