Fantastic weekend stay at the Omni Parker House! Centrally located and fantastic service make me come back over and over when I travel to Boston. My Loyalty welcome drink and snack plate where fantastic and made me feel like I just came over to a friends place and that I truly mattered!

The hotel is in a fantastic location. The hotel itself is also packed full of history. When you first come in to the hotel it is hard not to fall in love with its charm. But I stayed here for a week and as the week went on the more the charm starts to wear off. Examples are the beds...

Beautiful décor which reflected the history of the hotel. Great central location. Easy walk to many of the historical sites. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Staff was efficient and friendly. Very good at giving directions to sites. Would definitely stay here again.

An excellent hotel in a great location! Clean and quiet rooms in a beautiful and historic hotel. Most major things to do downtown are within walking distance, as was the subway for getting to a couple of Sox games at Fenway. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others and will stay there on my next trip to Boston.

The Parker House and Boston in general is a great place to visit. People are very friendly and helpful. Most attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. I would recommend to anyone who wants to experience downtown Boston.

A simply beautiful hotel lobby, together with friendly and helpful staff and a great location made our one night stay quite memorable. Our room was on the third floor, although well away from the "haunted" room also on that level, so there are no ghost stories to report. The room was very clean, with a functional, if small, bathroom with...

Usually we love the Omni brand, not just for rooms but for the customer service also. Well finally we hit a dud. Customer service at this hotel is lousy. This was also the most expensive Omni we ever stayed in with a tiny room, tiny bed and the rudest staff we have ever encountered ANYWHERE. Parker house Omni, send your...

Great location for tourist attractions. Very friendly staff. Ate at the Last Hurrah twice. Good liquor selection. Stayed on the 14th floor which was very quiet. Was able to purchase Trolley Tour tickets at the conceriege. Recommendation would be for more outlets. Was surprised the lamps didn't have a plug like other hotels.

This is one of the best, if not the best hotel I've ever stayed at. I absolutely fell in love with it. We've been to Boston but never stayed at the Omni Parker before. I'm very glad we did! We stayed there for 5 days and it was a wonderful experience. First of all the location is PRIME, it's right...

This is a grand old hotel in the heart of Boston. Clearly lots of history here. The rooms are very small, as are the beds and many rooms have no view. The restaurant is very nice, if a bit over priced for breakfast. Really enjoyed the location and the easy access to many of the attractions.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
