We arrived at the Omni Parker at 2:45pm, check in is at 3pm. Our room wasn't ready which I understand they still had 15 minutes however they knew we were coming in for a wedding and had to be on a shuttle at 3:10 to get to the church. Thank goodness we were dressed before we got there. We did...

The hotel looks grand on the outset, but as you step into the room, you find out its so small. The rates are not low, but the conditions inside are horrible. The bath tub was disgusting. Paint was coming off from the tub at several places. The TV remote had never been dusted. There was dust at several places including...

We realize that the historic nature of our hotel isn't for everyone and do apologize that your expectations weren't met. If you are ever in a position to visit Boston again and would be willing to give us another try, we'd appreciate that opportunity.

This hotel is centrally located to the T, as well as a lot of historic sites. We were pleasantly surprised. While we chose this hotel because many of the other hotels were already booked, we were glad that we chose this location.

You can tell this is a very old property that's been aggressively renovated over the years. They've managed it as well as can be expected. I'd compare it to the Park Plaza (in terms of an older place trying to maintain; near Boston Common) expect much better done; crowd much better managed than the PP zoo. You can't beat the...

I was at the Omni Parker for 4 days, I thought the hotel was great. Everyone at the hotel was courteous, friendly, and the staff was very sharp looking. This is the type of hotel that kind of brings you back a bit to old fashion class. The Hotel was immaculate and the bed was among the most comfortable I...

We always stay at the Parker House during our visits to Boston. The staff is always friendly and ready to assist you from the time you enter the building to the time you leave. The restaurants are very good and service is prompt and friendly. The location is centrally located to the T, Boston Common, as well as central Boston...

Omni PArker House - BEst Hotel in Boston for location and excellent hotel rooms, value etc. However, what makes Omni Parker House really special are the staff. From the front desk to the excellent Loyalty Ambassador (Kate is wonderful) to the most fabulous Concierge (Rebecca) who knew how to get 6 days of Boston in to our 3 day vacation....

Well situated on the famous freedom trail, this beautiful building is a gem. We were celebrating an anniversary when we stayed and were given an upgrade to a lovely suite. The bed was so comfortable I didnt want to get up. We had breakfast in the hotel and that too was excellent. The staff were all so friendly. A must...

Pre-paid with credit card. Due to travel problems, arrived late and was unable to "check in" before arrival. Was told that our "original" room was not available, but another room was assigned. Room clean, but extremely small. Two people could not pass from one side to another. Bathroom was so small could barely close the door.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
