Booked this hotel for an overnight, downtown stay for a late night out. While the experience was fun and the hotel was located well, the hotel overall didn't stand up to my expectations of a luxury property. The hotel is older but renovated to a more modern style. Being "old" is not a "bad" thing, especially in Boston. Sometimes it's...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights as part of our 2 week trip to the States. Overall, our time in the Revere was very disappointing and far less enjoyable than at our less expensive hotels in New York and Washington. Whilst the rooms are nice / big / clean, it is in a very good location and...

There was ongoing construction noise in the rooms adjacent to ours for three days 9-5. The hotel gave no notice that this would be happening and made no effort to find us another room. Also there was mold forming along the baseboard next to the bed. Very unpleasant stay.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel while we were in Boston for a friend's wedding. Even with the blocked rooms, the prices were a bit steep, but you get a good bang for your buck. The rooms were gorgeous, and we had a nice balcony that overlooked parts of the streets below. The bed was huge and comfortable,...

A great location. The beds were comfortable. Two of the elevators weren't working so there were long lines, and long waits to get up and down. While the hotel is well appointed it is beginning to show signs of wear, but still a very good deal for the price.

You are welcomed to an interestingly designed lobby, clean / Minimalist / chic but quite difficult to navigate to check in with cases if it's busy as it has a central circular area and a ramp to one side. Check in was efficient and friendly, in fact to a person staff were unfailingly pleasant. We had a room on the...

Room was a good size and although the balcony was possibly the ugliest I'd ever saw, it was great. We watched the 4th of July fireworks from it and couldn't have asked for a better spot. Overall, the stay at the Revere was really nice. They were very accommodating and the staff was friendly. The room was well kept and clean. The only minor issues were: 1. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
