This wasn't our first stay at this property. The hotel is in an excellent location, with plenty of amenities. It is connected to the Prudential Center and close to everything, shopping, food, transportation, which is a plus on days when the weather isn't necessarily appealing outside. The front desk was quick and helpful. My only concern was when they asked...

I stayed at the hotel may 7&8 at first we had a mini suite I thought I was back in 1970. The room was so outdated my daughter was with us and was going to sleep on the pull out couch when we opened it it was like sleeping on rocks. The walls the floor was worn out The bathroom...

My company stayed here for a convention. I was upgraded to a suite by the front desk person. The front desk people were very good at what they do. The suite was good with access to the concierge floor. About the room, the bathroom is adequate, but very small. Good firm bed but only one lamp in the bedroom area....

This busy hotel is well maintained given the number of guests who visit. Great location in Back Bay with access to the Prudential Center and a short walk to Newberry Street, and connections with the T (train) to navigate the city. Friendly staff, good spa services (although small), and a lively lobby complete with a restaurant, bar, and Starbucks.

I stayed at the Sheraton Boston for 5 days for a conference. This hotel provided excellent and professional service. I'd like to commend Ms Kiera who worked at the reception at the time of check in. It was way before check-in time. There was no available rooms for early check in, yet Kiera provided a reasonable option of an upgrade....

So it's late at night by someone's standards 9PM I go over to the Gold Elite Desk for SPG to check in. The man behind the desk is not so friendly. Checks me in, tells me the same amenities that apply at a Marriott do not apply here under the agreement with SPG. So what do I want a free...

Most accommodating and friendly staff. The location and being connected to the center makes for the ideal place for a convention of any size. The rooms were quiet to external noises, room was spacious for a standard king room.

So much for the merger with Marriott. I was told to merge my two accounts, since I hold a higher Elite status with Marriott, I would receive the same benefits with Sheraton. Check in was a nightmare, unfriendly, rude and not helpful. Then, add no upgrade to room or concierge lounge, because they are full makes this one of my...

We stayed one night April 28 to see a Red Sox game. The hotel location is great. We walked to Fenway park which is maybe a mile away. I have a few complaints about this hotel though. It looks nice a first glance. It was costly. ($350 for one night)This is not including:$56 for valet parking, $26 for the breakfast...

Boston is a great city and The Sheraton is a great hotel. Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
