Location for this hotel is everything, especially for Fanueil Hall area. Great place to stay accommodating staff. Small rooms, but you don't spend much time there other than to get ready to go out or sleep. Updated interior, comfortable, clean and well worth the $$. Only downfall, wish they had a restaurant for breakfast, however they do have a continental... More

We stayed here on Saturday November 26th. This place has several pros. Unfortunately our visit seemed to be more con than pro and we were disappointed. Pros: 1. Location location location. This hotel is walking distance to everything fun and/or historic about Boston. If It's not walking distance, a subway entrance is located right in front of the hotel. Very... More

This was our 3rd time staying at this hotel and for good reasons. When we first arrive, we drive a few blocks away to post office square to the underground parking garage. The hotel provides a voucher for the state street garage but the post office one is still cheaper. It isn't too far to lug a couple bags but... More

The hotel staff (Matthew) was very welcoming and accommodative after we reached early dawn after a red-eye. The location of this hotel is excellent with Quincy market just across having lots of restaurants and shopping. Also the subway station is steps away- Orange and Blue lines. Also an Irish pub Black Rose right across, having live music. The long wharf... More

I stayed at the Harborside Inn Hotel. Amazing location in the financial district and near the Bay and the Aquarium. Too bad the rooms don't have outside facing windows (why call yourself harborside inn when you are not an inn and you can't see the harbor).. Facinating architecture with a 8 floor attium that most rooms face. My window faced... More

Just visited this Sat & Sun. Great spot for the money although for the price it would have been nice to have a view. Our room was an atrium view room which looks out into the elevator common area. The widows have shades and are mirrored on the outside so tha you still have privacy. The front desk was beyond... More

Ok i know that this is boston but a room with a window facing the corridor with elevator (thus no outside view) for 300 usd / night is overpriced. The room is ok, all amenities safe , tv set, you can even iron your shirt. Location is good smack in the middle of boston Wifi is free breakfast not. Staff... More

The hotel had a boutique feel to it. The room was small but perfect since Boston has so much to do that you won't be in your room. There was a fridge in the room which I look for. We joined a hop on/off tour on the same block. The walk to Faneuil Hall was a couple minutes, as was... More

A boutique hotel with great staff, upscale rooms, everything I could have asked for. Traveled alone and I felt completely safe. Very pleasantly surprised when I opened the room door. I read a reviews about "brick walls," and there are brick walls on one side of the room, but it adds character. Beautifully decorated. Comfortable bed and pillows. Loved the... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
