This hostel is the best I've been to yet. Great location, great atmosphere and really lovely staff (Bobby especially) very welcoming and is literally just steps away from the beach. Great activities planned every day and night aswell. Would definitely recommend staying here.

If you like to travel cheep and have stayed in hostels befor then this will be right up your ally. The location of the hostel is fantastic. They have definitely named it correctly; the beach is right there. It is walking distance to alot of bars and also a local supermarket and liqueur store. The staff are friendly and chill....

The location of this hostel has got to be one of the best I've stayed in. It is metres from the beach. The staff offered exemplary service from the moment we arrived. The room was not great, with a dirty shower with a broken door. The privacy wasn't great either, but the location and staff made up for these shortfalls....

This relaxing inexpensive hostel is located right along the Pacific Beach just north of San Diego. These are the positives: - The staff are friendly and knowledgeable the local area - where to get the best fish tacos for example. - The location is right by the Pacific Beach, so you wake up every morning to the sound of sea...

Staff is nice, Good location. Lots of activities. Not the place to go if you want to sleep at night. Loud party atmosphere. Would've been nice to know that before I came here. Feel like I'd be better off rolling out my sleeping bag on the beach.

My 4 friends and I had planned to stay here after a long pacific coast highway drive from San Francisco. We were dead tired when we arrived. We drug our luggage inside and no one greeted us, no one told us where the rooms were, no one acknowledged us. It was dirty and cramped. The main tv room just had...

I was here in 97 when it was Banana Bungalow. Main thing that has changed is there is slightly more security. Otherwise it is a pleasant enough place to stay even when you have to share rooms. Do not expect any luxury but the staff are nice and you have what you need either here or close by at the...

Very nice owner, nice people, clean facilities, lockers to keep your stuff. Didn't stay long but I felt at home! It's right next to the beach so it's real cool if you like taking a walk in the morning/evening/whenever.

I stayed in a private room, it had 2 bunk beds. They were clean and acceptable. The bathroom was private, but had a hole to the outside instead of a window, I would have preferred that to be closed. Overall, if you are looking for a great time, on the beach, and to meet fun people, stay here! If you...
